Poor maintenance. Lot of Bushes are there which reduces the walking track. Excellent park in Anna Nagar, Madurai but it lacks maintenance by the Corporation. The concerned ward member should brought this poor condition to the concerned authorities and ensure proper maintenance of the park in future.
previously, it was an open area called oxidation pond with rough surface and long bushes. Now, it was made neat and tidy childrens park and play ground with many amenities including a triangular pedestrian path for walking exercises for adults and elders. It will be open at limited timings to avoid misuse by anti-social and drunkard elements. It is fully covered around by a compound wall with only one grilled gate. Thanks to Madurai municipal corporation exclusively for developing it. many celebrations like pongal, bakrid prayers, independence day and republic day celebrations etc., are also conducted by the local residents.

Nice place for fun and relaxation. Suitable park for kids under 12 years. Small play area but good maintenance. Well neatly maintained. Steel and stone benches are available to relax. Walking area for adults.
