Very friendly hosts. Rooms are okiesh and good for weekends. We stayed in garden view room in ground floor. Location is awesome, very close to beach.

Treetop homestay cottage is definitely one of the best experience. The property owner is very friendly and called up a day before check in to introduce themselves and guide with Kannur location and property briefing. The property owner also calls up to check if we are interested in lunch/breakfast options. The property is a bit interior so if people want to stay with crowd in the main, then this may not be the place for you. This is for people who would love to enjoy stay away from city. Definitely a pleasant experience. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to experience a peaceful and pleasant stay in Kannur.

Yeah beauty is there, but single room rome only- if fallen also in room- we will stand only. Ambiance is good, beach is rearby. Owner looks good, given kettle and other required things. Plcae to stay for 1 night and roam the beach. Beach too looks private, if nudely went also no one to see. Afternoon beach forgot about it- so heat. Evening beers will make us chill. So enjoy and stay at this hotel.

The place is simply amazing. We stayed here for a day during our trip to the Malabar coast last month. A little far from the main town - but since we travelled by our car so it didn't make any difference to us. The place is very clean, professionally managed and the room was big enough for us. We were three people, and I opted for a 4 bed room. Soumya - the young lady entrepreneur managing the property is quite professional in dealing. Her parents are also very warm and affectionate. The morning breakfast was quite tasty and also the quantity was good enough. The home made tea is simply mind blowing - we asked 2 additional servings and they happily obliged. The place is quite close to the beach and has ample parking space. We loved the town of Kannur and would definitely visit the place and also the property. Treetop Beach Cottages - Homestay is highly recommended.

We have just returned from our stay at the Treetop Beach Cottages. Excellent ambience. The location, albeit a bit interior, is very calm. The rooms are very comfortable for 2 people (we had taken the den room). Perhaps the only con was that the bathroom cum toilet is too small and congested. We didn't face any problem though. The best part of the place is the host Soumya and her parents. She is a wonderful host and went the extra mile to ensure our first visit to Kannur was worth it, right from calling me a couple of days before to understand our requirements till giving us all the info we needed. All in all, We would recommend this place for couples/small families. We are surely coming back here again.

Beautiful place in between the nature. The rooms are good with clean beds and bathroom. The owners are also very friendly and will provide all the help required. The location is a bit challenging to access but not a great deal of problem. The beach is just half a km walk from the stay.

The stay was nice, and the place seems very exquisite. Though the location is a bit off main city, but you can get an auto. The rooms are aesthetic, and service is good as well. Breakfast is tasty and tastes authentic local food. It is very near to Palliyamoola beach, which is serene. The only issue was that stairs were very narrow to carry luggage for first floor rooms. Else everything was good.

Treetop Cottages is the best homestay to stay if you want to visit Kannur and explore around, i would bet there are no other places who give you rooms at these attractive rates. our group of 7 people had chosen the 4 person room with additional bed and another 2 people room. The owner was so welcoming and helpful. The nearest beach is Meenkunnu beach and Payyambalam Beach. The homestay is located inside a residential area, but calm and quiet.
