Treebo Trip Sonachi Hotels - Hotel in Amritsar, Amritsar Cantt. - Amritsar, India

I stayed at this hotel when I visited Amritsar with a friend only a couple of days ago. Its extremely close proximity to The Golden Temple is definitely the best feature. The temple is at a mere distance of 10 steps. The rooms are furnished in a modern manner and even provide you with the view of the temple. The staff is really friendly especially MD of the hotel Mr Namanpreet. Being two female tourists was not at all a problem because of his excellent guidance in providing us not only with the directions but even booking our cabs for the city tour and the railway station, Over all, the experience was completely satisfactory and value for the money spent.

Didn't really hate the place, but the room was pretty moldy and stuffy with almost pealing off bits on the walls; windows probably never cleaned though it was very close to the Golden Temple (great location); no English speaking staff ( but one young lady called in from a nearby hotel was good); bathroom was ok; very difficult to find as taxis and rickshaws took us to two other pretty grotty Treebo Trip hotels before we could get a rickshaw wallah to figure out where it was. Should clean up their roof area so that clients could enjoy a view out to the temple. Not an India newby - been coming for 40 years.

The overall Experience at Hotel Alpha Inn was wonderful. The Rooms are very well maintained and the view of the Golden Temple from various spots including the Rooftop are Awesome. Its extremely close to the Golden Temple Back Gate & Garden. Jalianwala Bagh Memorial is just at 5 minutes walking distance

Proximity to the Golden Temple is the only reason for staying here. For those tired body after looking for the calmness of the Golden Temple in the wee hours, the problem to you is : the hotel door will be locked, how to enter depends on your ability (luck) whether you can make the owner aware that someone is knocking the door, and at the same time, you will pray for not attract the aggresively barking stray dogs within the neighbourhood. The room is filthy, not in par to the room pricing.

Situated near Golden temple main gate right side. You can have clear view of Gurudwara Sahib from room-window. Rooms are small, but neat, clean & fits in budget. They provide towel, soap, tooth-brush, paste, comb & shampoo with your room.

I'm giving 3Stars considering services, otherwise to TREEBO group It's less than even 1 rating: _Best hospitality, Response from Hotel Staff especially Karran Sharma, Appreciated for facilitating and exchanging the room. _Very Close to Golden Temple (+) point. I would not give even 1star rating to TREEBO Group. BECAUSE 1) It's not actually from Treebo, It's from different hotel group and same hotel is available online almost with 40% lesser amount.So Don't pay much with name of "TREEBO". Most important thing: They didn't disclosed name of the hotel while booking. 2) They need to revamp Entire Infrastructure for better comfort 3) Fire Extinguishers were not refilled as per due date (due in Y2020), Concern about safety

I would like to describe my experience at this hotel "Pathetic". Inco-operative staff, stinky rooms and wat not.. The size of a triple occupancy room was even smaller than a single occupancy. Had the worst experience in a hotel ever. Would stay at Amritsar railway station rather than staying at this place ever again..

Nice hotel very near to Golden Temple, Amritsar. Foods are not available but good safe place. Golden Temple and Jaliyanwala Bagh are at 2 mins walking distance.
