We stayed in this hotel 18years back i.e. June2005... It was very good and still I remember the hospitality of the staff of this hotel. The complete hotel and their rooms and beds were very neat and clean.That time their rate for one room was Rs.500/-.
The staff and hospitality is well up to the mark. The food is quite good though local cuisines are not available. Very much neat and clean, spacious rooms and a very beautiful dining space is available. Though there is no 24hrs hot running water but whenever it is required they switch on the main switch for geyser. Walking distance from the Mall. Overall a nice stay ..
1.Awesome view of Kanchanjungha from the terrace and dining areas as well as from some rooms also. And I was lucky enough to got one room with beautiful view of nature.
2. Well behaved and supportive staffs.
3. Peaceful and well cleaned property.
4. 9 to 10 minutes walking distance from the Mall.
5. Quality of food is good at reasonable price.
I will suggest for the carpet at the room as it's became very difficult to touch the floor at bare foot.

Mountain view from this hotel roof-top is fantastic.. view from restaurant is also awesome. This hotel is far from hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel is situated Little bit uphill from city clock tower and located in serene place. 5mins walking distance from the Mall, Food is quite average but behaviour of the staffs are very polite. Must visited for those who love tranquil place for relaxing.
Mountain view from this hotel roof-top & restaurant is fantastic...we could get an extraordinary view of Kanchenjunga. The hotel is situated at 10 minutes walking(uphill) distance from Mall. Food is quite average but staffs are descent.we travelled with old people.one of them got severely ill.They took nice care of her. It would be a nice place for those who want to relax in a place free from hustle bustle of daily chores.
The hotel is very comfortable and clean & clear.the services is very good.amenities all are very well.i think it's very comfortable for travellers.the viewing is just amazing.staff behaviour is also very good.
it's very comfortable for staying with family. the very important things is find the hotel location, when you are visit this hotel 1st time, please asked your driver to park "TV tower" location.the hotel is just 5 second on this location.but, many car driver tell you that, car is not going to this location.but, actually it's fake.

The location of the hotel is appropriate if one needs to have a great mountain view.It has a shortcut of about 5-8 mins that leads straight to the Mall.The service of the hotel were delightful.The rooms very cozy,comfortable and ours had an excellent view from the window.(Room 1O6 and 1O7)The food quality was too good and tasty. They also have an open terrace restaurant which is simply amusing .The only request to them is to start accepting cards or else it becomes a little difficult for the visitors .I would surely stay there whenever I visit Darjeeling again.
Awesome view from hotel. Quality of food is also wonderful. Hotel staff and manager always ready to serve and help you. Only two things they need to sort out.
1. Too much furnitures and it's wrong arrangement make room too small.
2. Hot water should available 24 hrs..
