We had a comfortable stay at Travel Monkey, Agra. The host and staff are very co-operative, polite and ensured we have a smooth stay and guided us well. The hostel is very affordable and has an in-house cafe which is cherry on cake. The only feedback I have is if the rooms could have a little bit more ventilation, its would be great!
Good location, nice restaurants around (20 min to the Taj). The room has no windows, the sheets were really dirty, no water pressure in the shower. We wanted to order a train back to Delhi, they convinced us to take a bus instead and promised they will be there to check that everything will be okay. This morning they drove us in their riksha to the bus station (short drive) and asked for the drive 200 rupees (overpriced). The bus was full, and we were told to wait for the next one. The guy from the hostel didn't want to wait with us as promised. There wasn't place in the next bus. Now we are waiting for the third one. Not recommended...
Felt like I needed to leave a great review. I was staying at a hotel across the street but had a problem they could not fix so I went randomly to this hostel to ask for help and met the host. He worked hard to fix my problem. The day after he helped me arrange a train ticket and to recharge my phone card and drove me to a great bar. He wanted nothing in return other than to help a tourist out. From the outside the hostel looks great. Just wanted to leave a review!
I was there for 2 nights. Was far away from my home but didn't felt like that. Only because of the owner and staff. They were very friendly and helpful. I reached there at around 7am but still they gave me check in within 15mins. Also I left my GoPro camera while leaving for Taj Mahal visit but the staff kept it safe till I return to hostel. Overall this was my most wonderful stay at a hostel as a solo traveler.
Hostel que je recommande vivement ! Pas cher, les chambres sont parfaitement propres, climatisation et ventilateur qui fonctionnent (c'est important de le preciser en Inde !). I stayed here on 18th-19th June and let me tell it is one of the best hostels i have every stayed.I so loved my stay there I have taken a bed in dorm, very affordable. The host is super friendly. He will give you all tips to travel agra and can even arrange tour packages for sightseeing. I am gonna miss him and can't wait to get back again with my friends this time. There's common area and cafe in hostel so no worries for food. I even loved the interiors of the hostel, the art was really nice. Overall In a word the stay was perrffecttt.
Amazing stay at this hostel, the place is clean and the owner is really nice and can give you good advice. Special thanks to Salu, the tuktuk driver, who drove us around with always a big smile and kindness. He gave us good adresses and advice, our travel would have been so much more difficult without him. Thank you so much !
