Hello all, I had a lot to share about my experience for "The Spiti Valley". This is gonna be the longest and one of the most influential reviews. I am a solo traveller and it's been five amazing years of exploring different places. I had booked my SPITI Tour with Glabol Expedition initially. My full payment was advanced for double sharing occupancy. Four days before this trip ( Tour start date - 24th June 2023), Glabol team called me and told that this trip cannot be arranged as we don't get enough bookings. As I was an existing client, they provided me with two alternative travel agencies itineraries to select and go ahead. I opted for Ilahi travels by looking their itinerary and stay pictures which I got from Glabol team. At that point of time, I didn't know what a huge mistake I made. I was so excited for my trip. I connected with Ilahi travels coordinator Mr. Anshu and he confirmed that he got my booking from Glabol because of above mentioned reasons. He added me in 24th June 2023 Spiti tour WhatsApp group and provided me with Delhi to Shimla bus travel details. He also introduced me with Mr. Niranjan who met me at the bus pick up point near Kashmere Gate Bus stand. Till now, everything seems really well. After this, when I reached Shimla, Mr. Avijeet met me at the pick up point from Shimla to Chitkul. After half an hour, he told me, you will not be continuing this whole trip with Ilahi as we have transferred your booking to Travel Chapes. So, Mr. Avijeet introduced me with Mr. Dev (Tour captain from Travel Chapes) and asked me to take my luggage and sit with other travellers whom I didn't even know. When I asked Mr. Avijeet, what are you doing and how come you are asking me to go with some other travel agent, he mentioned that your booking has been transferred by Ilahi travels to Travel Chapes because we didn't have enough space in our Tempo Traveller. All this mismanagement and change in my travel accommodation from double sharing to triple sharing happened without any prior information to me. When I reached out to Ilahi travels at the same time, none of the coordinators had picked up my calls. Mr. Avijeet wasn't even aware of how to handle the situation and couldn't able to connect with Mr. Anshu and Mr. Niranjan to help me out. Ilahi travels and these three people from this company are the worst travel coordinators, I have ever been with. They have done all this without my consent and prior communication, which is unofficial and cheating. Ilahi travels shouldn't run travel tours for customers as they can make changes in one's itinerary by themselves without customer information. Also, companies are guided to take care of female travellers more sensitively, but Ilahi travels, they don't even know basics of customer service forget about respecting basic laws, customer promises and terms and conditions. Luckily, Travel Chapes, who took my booking, gave me an amazing experience throughout the trip. Mr. Devendra Bisht, who was our Tour captain, made sure to make me feel comfortable and understood the whole situation. He was very polite, humble and down to earth. He made our tour better than expected. Also, our driver, Mr. Lucky Singh, he was a gentleman too. He was very humble, polite and friendly. He was smiling all the time and made sure to start and end the daily visits on time. I am thankful that I got an opportunity to travel with Travel Chapes instead of Ilahi Travels for my SPITI trip as they made it wonderful and customer oriented. Also, Travel Chapes coordinator, Mr, Rishi was very polite and humble too when I had an interaction with him. I will recommend Travel Chapes for your next SPITI trip with good rating. Also, I would strongly give negative rating to Ilahi travels for overall experience.
I had an amazing experience with travel chapes for my trip to Spiti. Our trip coordinator Garvit did a great job at making sure all places are covered with the best possible experience. All the stays during my full circuit Spiti trip were great! I would definitely want to go for another trip with travel chapes. Highly recommend.
I can't help but gush about my recent trip with Travel Chapes, led by the amazing Shivaay. Seriously, this journey was beyond anything I could have imagined. It's etched in my memory forever. What really struck a chord with me was Travel Chapes' dedication to responsible tourism. They care about the planet and the communities we visited, and that meant a lot to me. To sum it up, my journey with Shivaay and Travel Chapes was nothing short of life-changing. It rekindled my wanderlust and showed me the beauty of our world in a whole new light. Had a great experience with travel chapes while traveling to Spiti valley, all the stays were comfortable the food was good, the tour guide Garvit was very nice and empathetic towards female travelers. The driver was very experienced and drove so well on tough roads. The package price was also very reasonable.

I really had a good travel experience with travel chapes they provide very good stays and food we had very good piolets who stopped everywhere we wanted and our captian gourav done fantastic job he knows everything about spiti and it places history.
After looking for a reputable company that helps with solo travel planning/holidays I decided on Travel Chapes purely based on their amazing reviews and their incredible offering via the website. I honestly couldn't of been happier and I'm over the moon I made that choice. On the tour of Spiti Valley I was grouped with a good mix of girls and guys and I made some friends for life, in our group the ages ranged from 23-28 and everyone got on so well and by the end, we were just 1 big family! The spiti was my favorite out of the 3 just because I really enjoyed the local experiences there and the variety of things to do each day. The accommodation we stayed in was immaculate and far better than anything I had ever imagined on a budget trip, we had a perfect mix of everything, and to be honest, we saw so so much and did everything with such ease and comfort. The Trip Leaders Vishal were all fantastic from start to finish, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and always very approachable which made them a joy to be around! I've honestly never experienced such exceptional customer service from the moment I contacted them to the end of all 3 of the tours I did with them (Ladakh, Meghalaya, and Rajasthan) I was looking for another solo adventure to Srilanka next year and I'll definitely be going with Travel Chapes again!
