Absolute Fine dining place. The waiters are Pro and would suggest and guide you as per your pallette. The interiors are very well done. The portion size is huge so order accordingly. A starter and a dish would suffice for two average people. The desserts are right there and notch a 100 when it comes to balance of taste and sugar.
Is it authentic? Not even close nonetheless quite good good overall The bread they served was delicious but what tasted even better was the focaccia we ordered (tasted a lot like garlic bread though). Algio olio dip was good but they served way too much of it! Pizza was not authentic Italian (it was a mix of an Indian and an American style pizza) but eitherways tasted pretty good. We customised our own with olives, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc. Someone at the table asked for a custom "pink sauce pasta" which also tasted good. Tomato soup was average. Tuscan Chicken was pretty bland (not sure why the waiter recommended it) Far far in comparison from restaurants like Botticino but overall still really good food. I'd recommend the pizza and the pasta (and the focaccia to start with).
Service was not up to the mark as it usually is at Taj. Food was quite tasty.
Must try dessert - Tiramisu Chocolate mud pie with icecream This is a big big yes !!!!! Best pizza in the town - Spinach, Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese (add some jalapeno to enrich taste) Mozzarella Stick was good. Salad was ok, the yellow sauce with it is awesome. Pesto Pasta is a big avoid.

Sobo's favourite hang out spot is back! Trattoria at @presidentmumbai has been newly renovated and it is an experience you need to have! The decor and aesthetics are classy and Instagrammable! Their food tastes even better than it looks! Some of the dishes i tried: - Prawn Cocktail, Brandy Infused - Avocado Cruda, Warm Roasted Florets, Freke - Herbed Garlic Bread with Aglio Olio E Peperoncino - Onion & Chilly Flakes Fiama Pizza - Norwegian Grilled Salmon, Saffron Risotto, Butter Garlic Sauce - Spaghetti Aglio olio Peperoncino - Potato Gnocchi, Kale, Mushrooms, Pinenuts . - Tiramisu - Pull me Up Cake . Trattoria is an Italian restaurant with an open kitchen and famous for its wood fire oven pizzas. Located inside the President, Mumbai IHCL.. Well known in the area the place was packed with diners enjoying their food. We tried the European meal and its delicious and a good amount. My dish was a little over cooked but the other dish was great. Shall visit again to try the pizzas Manoj was an amazing server who took care of us.
NEVER sit out in the open area Since the restaurant was full they offered us to sit outside in the open area & we agreed as we were in a hurry . The music was so loud & after having made the 2 of us sit in the open area I had to repeatedly go inside to call the service personnel & everytine a different person came to attend ie for taking the order # serving the food # for payment of the bill- Never expected such a service from Taj group of hotels
