Tranquility Trichy - Resort hotel in Tiruchirappalli, Melur - Tiruchirappalli, India

We visited Tranquility resort 2 weeks ago, and this entire time, we are still relishing fond memories of our stay there and can't bring ourselves to the present world! I felt resorts like these are truly an eye opener for busy city dwellers looking for an off the beaten track vacation. Blessings to the owners and the care takers for having set this place up and for giving so much love and attention in order for guests to thoroughly enjoy their stay.

Si vous souhaitez trouver un peu de calme et de repos apres l'agitation des villes alors cet endroit est fait pour vous. Isole et recule sur l'ile de Srirangam, il offre la possibilite de se ressourcer et de se reposer. Une baignade (sans supplement) est possible dans un bassin a 5 minutes de marche avec une personne qui vient vous chercher. L'accueil est irreprochable. Les charmants proprietaires Raja et Usha ne vivent pas dans la guesthouse (joignables tres facilement par whatsapp) mais mettent a votre dispostion une equipe tres gentille et attentionnee. La chambre est spacieuse, tres propre et joliment decoree. Climatisation et ventilateur. Il n'y a que tres peu de commerces a cote. Prevoir de manger sur place en supplement (1100 rps pour 3 pers non veg pour le diner), le repas etait tres bon. Nous avons passe un excellent moment, coucher du soleil pres de la riviere et super petit dejeuner avec fruits, confiture, toasts, dosas et plats indiens. A recommander absolument!

Nous avons passe avec nos enfants 2 jours formidables dans cette chambre d'hotes. L'accueil d'Usha a ete parfait et elle a ete un super guide pour la visite de l'Amma Mandapam a Trichy, mais aussi du village autour de la maison. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables, et tres bien decorees. Quant a l'emplacement, on est au milieu des cocotiers, dans un petit village au calme a quelques kilometres de Trichy. Facile d'acces en rickshaw, c'est vraiment un petit coin de paradis, au calme. Un immense merci, ce passage a Trichy restera comme notre coup de coeur de notre long sejour en Inde.

Tranquility is a simple but welcoming guest house in a beautiful part of Srirangam Island. Rooms are huge, with great outdoor areas. Raja and Usha are fantastic hosts and great guides, with a deep knowledge of the local and surrounding areas. Maaran and his family provide delicious and healthy meals at a low cost. We stayed for a week and it was a wrench to leave.

Tranquility is a great place for a peaceful getaway. The couple thats owns the place are a wonderful company to be with. Mr. Raja is children friendly person who really cares for the guest and their family with passionate care. He has wide info on travelling and you can have nice talk with him over a coffee. The access to shopping or hotels are little farther but you wont regret it as nearby family cooks you traditional homecooked meals. There is entire lot of pleasing people and pump set bathing / river dips and fishing techniques to be learnt. Its a nice package for the whole family on a decent price...

This graceful private bungalow is situated in the peaceful unspoiled hamlet of Melur. The hosts Rajan and Usha are graceful and are the epitomes of hospitality. The food is home-cooked delicious and healthy. The Kaveri and kollidam rivers are close by and we went for a swim almost everyday of our stay. Srirangam and Trichy with their wealth of temples are accessible by car. We plan to return soon.

Amazing hosts and beautiful property at the middle of nature's best. Kid friendly. Stones throw away from the beautiful Cauvery river. Our 3 day stay will be cherished for a long time. Home cooked village food and hosts who are like family are rare experience

We have been visiting this place since 2017. It is a beautiful bungalow tucked away in a peaceful village. After the hustle and bustle and stressful living in Chennai, it felt like paradise. We went for a swim in the river everyday, took soothing walks with our dog, played in the huge water tank in a nearby farm. The food was home-cooked and yummy. We visited in December 2020 and it was such a great relief to be visiting a completely COVID-free zone during the pandemic. The older folks in the family visited many temples in the nearby cities of Srirangam and Trichy. The hosts Usha and Raja were very warm and out of the way to make us feel at home. The caretakers offer outstanding service and made us feel like we were visiting family. We plan to come back for more memorable visits.
