Amazing day spent here! All the staffs are well mannered and always helpful. My only complain is about the cook. Rude as he is, He is a person who will never make anything with his heart and we can feel that. Whenever I try to order snacks or something he refuses to make saying he is busy or not available. Well Mizoram Tourism should definitely look into the cooking staffs of Tourist Lodge and hire professional and versatile cooks. The Circuit House of Champhai has way better staffs then the Tourist Lodge of Serchhip. NGL

A quaint cottage with beautiful scenaries on view, cozy and romantic

Beautiful views from the cottages. Extremely well priced. Plenty of parking. Reasonably good food. Helpful management. Definitely worth a stop.

Tourist lodge at Serchip is situated at a good place with beautiful sceneries in and around. You can see lush green hills around and the clouds touching the mountains and at times yourself. I stayed in their Cottage. The room has 2 beds, TV, bathroom and a cable. The Building required maintenance and I believe it is also due to limited usage. Food was good. I think this is one of the good location where you can bring your family, friends and also do solo trips. People here understand only Mizo and hence it will be difficult to have conversations. Still people can respond to things told in English.

People here are very nice and helpful. The lodge is very clean it has good big rooms and the very reasonable rates for those rooms. 1000 rs for the deluxe room. Food here also is very great.

Food is not at all good for North Indians specilly.. Rooms are huge.. Very good place to chill..

Serchhip Tourist Lodge is located in an isolate place just outskirt of the town. The place is pleasant. The cottages are good place and worth lodging for few days. Food is also available.
