Very nice place ..I am very happy to enjoy that place ..I hope in future I am visit again thanks.. Some problem like I am vegetarian..and that place who are vegetarian that survive very difficult .

Due to landslide destroy8ng the road leading to the lodge, vehicle entry is limited.

The place is quite good and stay is comfortable. The rooms are neat and clean. The food items served to us was tasty. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods are to be served as per order. Dining area is also good. The only drawback is that the place is away from the main city. Might be nowadays it's booking is through Mizoram tourism website.

Beautiful experience staying here for 3 days and 4nights. Buildings are a little old, and their amenities not the finest, but their service and food make up for it. What a spectacular view of the Lunglei landscape it offers! Catch the morning sunrise , and the sun setting, and you'll just be blown away. Make sure you drop in at the Mizo Chief's bungalow,located right next to the eastern building. Stay here for a while and get recharged.

The lodge has a terrific location on top of a hill and has spectacular views of Lunglei city. Great place to catch a sunset. I stayed in a standard double room which was pretty good value for the price. Had a good view even from my balcony. It's a bit rough around the edges and service at the restaurant is a bit indifferent but a great place to hang back for a couple of days otherwise.

This tourist lodge is owned and maintained by Department of Tourism, Government of Mizoram. The staffs are very cordial and friendly. The foods they served are also very good. The room in eastern sides are having better landscape views. There are three main buildings and each can accommodate guests. If you plan to stay here advance booking is better in order to avoid non availability of emty/vacant room. There is watch tower in the Lodge complex, you can see around Lunglei town from that watch tower.

The structures/buildings are old. Beautiful and scenic location though. For the apprehensive ones, a building in the complex houses RTPCR Laboratory for Covid-19 sample testing which might be a deterrant!

Been here from the outside looks very nice. Big compound and big campus area. Not sure about the insides because I didn't actually checked-in. Note: The most proximal part of the road near the entrance gate is not black-topped; therefore the road conditions maybe suitable for jeepable road. However this strech of 'jeepable roads' extends to about 40 meters or 50 meters or 160 feet long. The rest being a good condition highway grade suitable yet small roads of barely 2 cars wide length with a few feet (5-7 ft) to spare for both parties.
