My Friend and I did the jaipur Food Tour with Khan. We had a wonderful day learning about different foods and their history. We tried a wide variety of foods and ate things that we wouldn't have tried otherwise! Khan was very knowledgeable, lovely to talk to and adapted the tour to include a trip to the market. Two of us went on the 2 hour Jaipur tour and we loved it the food was delicious and Khan explain everything as we went along. the first stop was our favourite and we tried lassi which I have not stop thinking about since. The tour give a good variety of food and Khan answered any questions we had about the food and the local culture. The food we got to see some parts of Jaipur.
Amazing time with Khan. We had the most amazing time with our guide Khan. We have booked the tour with Tour for taste. We got to see many different places that we were not able to see by ourselves. Khan is also very knowledgeable and friendly that from the first meeting we felt very comfortable with him. He is also took us to a local chai place, that was amazing. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Tour For Taste and please ask for khan.
We had a wonderful time on the food tour, our guide, hero was so lovely, very informative and friendly, he had lots of knowledge and brought us to some lovely restaurants on our tour. We sampled lovely food, street food and heard very interesting stories. We would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting Jaipur.
The bazaars and winding alleys of Delhi are a daunting place; without a local guide, it would be impossible to navigate the markets. Wanting a taste of the market as well as of local food, I embarked on the (what ended up being 5-hour) food tour with 6 other tourists. The tour did not disappoint as our guide khan brought us to 8 food outlets, including street food carts and more permanent shops, filling us to our gullets with delicious North Indian fare. The tour is well-catered for vegetarians as the vast majority of food items we tried were suitable, and even at establishments known for meat dishes, veggie options were available. In addition to the food stalls and a detailed description of the composition and culture of the dishes, khan brought us to a Sikh temple, a Jain colony, and a 24-hr flower market, quiet stops along the hectic streets of Delhi. This was definitely one of the best ways to sample both the markets of Delhi and the street food typical of North India. One top tip - skip lunch before the tour, and go hungry!
Very authentic and interesting. We saw and learned a lot. I love how the tour guide had a camera and took pictures for us the whole time!! This really lets you enjoy your time without worrying about pictures. He did a great job! The food was also delicious! I was a little worried at first, ( it's street food) but they only take you to certified places to eat. We had a lot of fun and would totally recommend this to anyone going to jaipur!
