Toshali Royal View Shimla - Resort hotel in Shimla - Shimla, India

Located near shilon bagh, kufri - this hotel resort offers peaceful and pleasant stay with mesmerizing view out the window itself. Had lovely room service and polite staff. Have good outdoor setting and in-house restaurant. It's a little isolated from main city so public transport is not that frequent- bring your own vehicle.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying here on 23rd and 24th June night and I must say it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this establishment fell far short of its advertised standards. Even after informing that we will be doing early check-in, we were charged Rs. 2000 for one room which is almost half the amount of the room tariff and also asked us to pay the remaining amount in advance during check-in only. The person sitting at the front office was too rude and did not greet us well. Also, the worst part that we have experienced is that without our approval the housekeeping staff accessed our rooms for cleaning on our behalf. A few of our expensive gadgets were available in the room at that time and they aren't accepting the fact that this is not allowed. Before leaving when we had asked for a justification, they started to misbehave with us and we asked them to write an apology for misbehaving and in return we had hold the food bill amount that had to be paid during checkout. Later they even closed the main gates of the property to not let us go out. Unfortunately, we had to call police to explain the matter and they started talking so rudely to us and said if we don't pay the remaining amount, the staff will behave more worst with us. It took around 2 hours to get out of this matter and property staff behavior's was too bad even after having a word with the local police. Though police didn't came but was on call with us till the time we had exit t he property completely. Only the good part was the property location and view but the experience that we have faced is way beyond these positive factors.

Although I didn't stay here, I still loved the vibes of this place. This is a majestic n luxurious property with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. We had our lunch here n it was one of the best experience I had in a long time. The food was delicious n the service was impeccable. The staff was eager to serve us n enthusiastic to share anecdotes about this place. The resort is a perfect getaway for people who wish to enjoy the tranquility n peace of nature albeit in relatively luxurious surrounding . I would love to stay in this property on my next visit

We visited this place to book rooms for a family and found rooms to be old & stinky. Also, there was a lot of nuisance by monkeys in the room balconies. Even the staff was not very courteous when we were interacting with them. However, the view was really good from the room. Also, they have good SPA service. Finally, we didn't stay at this place.

Mind Blowing experience - 1 can enjoy the beauty and the food of the resort is mouth watering and extremely hygienic - as the main market is too polluted in main Shimla road - I would suggest this would be perfect destination - as it is at a little distance from the hustle but so much thoughtfully built that 1 can stay for longer with a complete peace of mind - its worth every single penny and a must visit !!!

No doubt the view is spectacular, mountain with greenery all around the chipping sound of bird. But the food is not good quality is not worth the price. Rooms are spacious with seperate balcony be aware of monkeys if you open the door of balcony. The Market, chemist etc is far away from the hotel , it seems like hotel is located in jungle you will see nothing around it .

Stayed with family of 7ppl for 2days in Toshali royal view. We booked royal studio room with breakfast, they charged 6000rs per night and 1000rs for extra person stay. Property is huge and rooms are spacious with great view of mountains. Breakfast is good, Location is good, it's perfect for couples. To talk about facilities, bar is closed due to license expired, play area is not maintained or functional. No free camp fire to chill the climate with party. Person in reception area are not good in welcoming the guest. Room cleaning not done during stay of 2days, Food rates are quite high to their service standard.

Very good rooms. Good food at reasonable cost. Hospitable staff. Good view from room. Monkey menace. Just can't go to the balcony. Not a wheel chair friendly place. Entrance goes by a steel bridge with stairs.
