Very beautiful location in front of Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram. Walk through the Sabarmati ashram to river front for morning & evening walk.

Lovely place it is. Good for 2 days stay in peace.

The hotel is located at a prime location just opposite to the Sabarmati Ashram, however, Gujarat tourism can do much better by improving the quality of rooms, cleaning, and also giving better food option. Although the food is good, hygienic and tasty, the variety is less. I wish and hope that the Gujarat government not only invest on advertising the tourism but also improve the infrastructure in the Gujarat Tourism properties. I had booked it on purpose to get the feel of local tourism but was really disappointed

Centrally located, best ambience, polite staff and good hospitality. Very spacious and clean room and surrounding area as well. Restaurant is also too good. Nice experience

Stayed here last week of Dec. Good location. Room/Cleanliness : 1. The ground floor rooms had damp. 2. Cockroaches in cupboard. 3. A layer or two of dust on all furnitures 4. The cushions on the chairs have never been cleaned. 5. Sheets for the bed were slightly greyish not white. 6. Luckily bathroom was very clean Location is good, right opposite gandhi ashram, can get to all major attractions quickly. Food very very limited option, and average in quality. But not terrible Would have rated 2, if not for the location and clean bathroom

We had lunch here arranged by General Manager Madam of Gujarat Tourism. This hotel belongs to them. It is well maintained, has good facilities. The lunch at the restaurant was also excellent. The Gujarati cuisines were very healthy and tasty as well. Hotel is hygienic.

I stayed here from 23rd to 25th Oct. Booked mainly because it was opposite to Sabarmati Ashram and also provides concession for sr Citizen. Location : Bang opposite Sabarmati Ashram ,however 8 Km far from city center / market. Check in : Smooth Rooms: Spacious but old interiors. Cleanliness: 1/5 , you can spot dust, spiderwebs at several places. Hotel staff is lethargic in their behavior so dont expect much on cleanliness side. Food: Breakfast - Only 1 dish + 1 Tea was complimentary. Anything extra you need to pay. So definitely not worth the money you pay. Lunch / Dinner: Average taste and quality Checkout : Smooth Overall you may opt to stay here if none of other options are available. Else please avoid as much as possible.

Its a gujrat tourism hotel & restaurant. We had dinner in restaurant, here you will find simple homemade like food(veg), gujrati & punjabi thali, mainly north indian food. Tandoori items are not available here. Service is fast yet simple & price are reasonable. It's on main road easily accessible and near by Gandhi Ashram. If you are near Gandhi Ashram then can eat food or snacks here.
