Tora Eco Resort & Life Experience Center - Resort hotel in Bally - 24 Paraganas South, India

This place was open when we visited in November 2023. Clean rooms and bathroom, serene atmosphere. Staff was very helpful. It has been renamed as Hetelbon Resort.

The resort was the best in Sundarbans , rooms very clean and comfortable, as good as the best in cities, beds , mosquito nets, bathrooms all tidy and clean. Clean drinking water , they have their own RO plant . Food was awesome and homely, both on the cruise and in the resort. Anil Mistry , the host was most captivating with stories of his live experiences.

Serenity of the jungle and rustic feel ideal for unwinding. Sincere efforts in conserving nature was visible in every aspect. Rooms are cosy with all essential amenities provided. Food delectable, prepared with care and served with warmth. Staff extremely polite, complying and eager to help always. It was hospitality par excellence. Personal attention to every guest by the chief host Shri Anil Giri made our stay a memorable one indeed.

Good place for weekend gateway. AC rooms available with great food. Service is also good, they can pick you up from airport. Vessel service for eco tourism also available.

Stayed with our group in WILDLIFE PROTECTION SOCIETY OF INDIA BALLY SUNDERBAN which is well connected from Ghatkhali by Ferry Boat, thrilling experience, great hospitality at next level in such beautiful nature place having largest Mangroves in salted water using Luxury Ferry Boat for TIGER SIGHTING which absolutely served the cause being there guided by the person Mr Anil Krishna Mistry team who is great person of Sunderban as heard by the other people and endorsed the same after meeting with him later on in Resort he shared vast experience of Sunderban Life which was ultimate, we stayed there in WPSI for 2 nights 3 days in resort, sunrise to sunset on the Ferry Boat , night in resort ,the whole programme was crafted by Mr Avijit, a wildlife lover, would visit there more and more .

Food and staff behaviour very good. Rooms comfortable n nice. Landscape nice. Hot water available on demand. If you don't ask they don't give it. One is forced to leave the resort after morning tea. Breakfast lunch are arranged only on boat although there is a huge kitchen. If low tide begins it is impossible to alight at the jetty. Elderly aunt and kids had to be carried on arms. we somehow managed. Very inconvenient.

Stayed 2 nights there on 6th and 7th of Nov, 2021. I must say the stay was superb, rooms were clean and hygienic. Though our visit was arranged by some other agency and stay was arranged in Tora Eco Resort, the hospitality extended by the resort staffs was overwhelming. I am planning to visit the place again only for the warmest yet humble hospitality. Thanks a lot to Mithun, ever smiling young guy, who could be asset to any hospitality house. I should mention Mrityunjoy too , a simple village man with encompassing experiences of life and with ethos that is Sunderban. Heartfelt thanks to all.
