From my personal experience within 4 months of me joining the academy, I qualified state championship and Prenationals, and by the 5th month I officially became a national shooter... All thanks to my coaches - Mr. Gopal Dubey Sir & Mr. Vinod Mishra Sir, for always inspiring me to do better, I'll always be indebted to them... They not only have the paper target lanes but also SIUS lanes and SCATT systems to assess your performance and areas where you lack to give you a better picture of where you stand! Which helps a lot with competitions since lot of academies don't have these and competitions held at national level or higher use the same assessment methods... One world class shooting range that's supplemented by three national level coaches. Has both 10m Air Rifle and 10m Pistol. You can try both and decide which one you'd like to pursue. The cost is 5000 a month and bullets cost 600INR, shooting cards cost 200INR. So the total cost per month comes around 5800INR which is incredibly cheap for a sport such as shooting. There are 8 lanes out of which 3 are electronic (used in nationals and international matches, you play with paper card targets in state and pre-nationals). You do not need to buy guns right away, as the guns here are of international standards that are well maintained. There's even Scatt (an aim improving electronic device that shows the movement of your gun on the computer) which I rarely found in any shooting academy in India. Here they do not charge you for this piece of equipment. Out of the 35 odd people learning here, 20 are national players which speaks about the quality of coaching. Found the coaches to be amicable, supportive and patient with the students. Well furnished, located on the first floor in two giant halls in Subhash Stadium. Ample parking downstairs. The coaches pay close attention to safety in the shooting range. Loved the ambience and competitive spirit this academy entails.
