Small Dam, nothing much to see except you walk on the bridge near the dam gates. Entry fee of Rs 100 for 4 wheelers. Small forest leads the way towards the dam. Thats all folks!!!
Topchanchi Lake is an interesting tourist spot in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. Situated on the National Highway 2, it is located at the Golden Quadrilateral. Though the lake is an artificial one, its green surrounding amidst forests and hills makes it an ideal picnic spot. It is also in demand for sound and serene vacations. It covers a total area of 214 acres. This lake needs to be improvement in basic facilities for picnic spots....

It's nice place to visit to have some time in the woods and soothing pleasant views of the near by Hills and Mountains. The lake was filled due to monsoon and lots of greenary out there in the surroundings.
Awesome natural beauty, water body was full of water due to heavy rainfall in last few days, authority take rs 100 for car and rs15 for bike, when you enter from main road will see House of Maha Nayak Uttam Kumar but now it bought by someone else, approximately 500 meters road made of mud but sceneries are awesome long and fat trees are both side of the road and our car going through the middle awesome , when we enter the lake clouds are touching the hill top it's looks like clouds kisses the hill and sun rays was fabulous, many cows were wandering in the hill bottom and Pareshnath Hill clearly visible from the lake. It's a wildlife Sanctuary. We went there with hired car.
I had gone to Topchanchi lake a few days back, I was mesmerized by the beauty of this lake. I am glad that I saw the beauty of this lake with my own eyes.
