Top station Munnar - Tourist attraction in Munnar, Kottagudi - Idukki, India

The view was very nice, though heavily commercialised. Located inside Tamilnadu, it takes approximately one hour from Munnar to reach here. After getting down from the cab you have to walk 500+ meters to reach the watch tower. There is a small forest counter from Tamilnadu, just to collect the entry fee. Tourist amenities are pathetic. Not even a public toilet.

Top station is the border for kerala and tamilnadu and you have buy entry tkt and enjoy the location and take photos and after some walking distance another tkt because view is much better from there. Blunder of tkts. View point is beautiful to enjoy.

The nature at its best.. The place is soo soothing for eyes which can't be described in words. Don't forget to carry warm clothes or windcheater or raincoat depending on the weather. The place is windy throughout the year so please take appropriate measures.

The view from top is pretty nice. Apart from it, there's nothing much to see but the journey from Munnar to Top Station has some beautiful views and overall wonderful experience!

Never expected such a breathtaking and mesmerising experience in life at the top station. Located at around 40kms from Munnar, this is the best spot to start the visit of Munnar followed by Kundala lake & dam, Mattupatty lake & dam and Rose garden on the way to Munnar.

The day we visited was fully surrounded by the mist we barely see anything but still enjoyed the weather. Only we struggled for parking otherwise great place to enjoy.

Breathtaking views from this place. This place is a bit far from Munnar and takes around 1 hour to reach. But the absolute beauty here will make you want to stay here and absorb the nature's glory.
