Top of The Terrain, Gorkhaland - Nature preserve in Mahal Diram Tea Garden - Darjeeling, India

It is an absolutely amazing place to visit as a short trip from Siliguri or Darjeeling or kalimpong.it can be reached via kalijhora from kalipong or via kurseong- dow-hill - sittong from Darjeeling or Siliguri. The place is situated at a height overlooking the sorrounding area as the name suggests and it offers tremendous views of the hilly terrain around. The icing on the cake is the peeping Kanchenjunga from behind the hils

Beautiful scenic view but the way to Mahaldiram is offroads... roads are very rough..

Great place..top of a mountain..place is generally called Sittong 2 ..and falls under Kurseong Block division..can commute through Mungpoo and Kurseong too.

This place is popularly known as Aahaldhar view point in sitong, It has 360 degree view of hills. But the approch road to the view point is not at all good. Also there is no proper toilets, it's pathetic for women travellers.

Wow! It's a very beautiful place. During clear weather the stunning view of Siliguri plains can be seen clearly. Fresh air and grenery. Loved it. And it's way, wow! Amazing. I love to travel there.
