Coconut Grove is a nice place and well maintained for Church street standards. The service personnel were all polite and nice. The atmosphere and ambience is very soothing and positive in nature. Am rating it 4 stars only because the chicken we ordered let us down but the prawns were hands down one of the best have had till date. This place is expensive like 600rs for a plate of chicken and same for prawns but it is worth it. Believe me if you want to take your family and have a good budget but still want to visit a really nice well maintained restaurant then this place is it. Would suggest celebrating family or team occasions here. Oh almost forgot they have copper tumblers for drinking water and it tastes amazing.

Coconut grove is considered a nice restaurant family dining and usually big bucks team comes here to dine. But I was really disappointed in their food. My family and I visited coconut grove for a dinner, - Appam had a spoiled taste. They are known to make Kerala dishes, but that was a spoiled dish, we were really disappointed - they are highly overpriced - the vegetarian kurma/peas curry had a chicken piece, we got a small bone in our plate! We were shocked. We are all a vegetarian eating family. We did not complain as we did not want to make a fuss when my parents were around. - the washroom doors are all made of glasses and are minutely transparent. Like what, where is the privacy? A place like this which had a legacy at one point, should look into these matters. Dissatisfied and disappointing experience.

Good place for Kerala cuisine. Good location. I've visited this place after nearly 4 years. It's still the same. Quite authentic.

Lost their dignity.... Biryani tastes like it was prepared yesterday and nobody is interested to take care of the patrons...we ordered Chicken Biryani, prawns, king fish curry...it didn't even deserve to pack ... never again

It is situated in Church Street. Great ambiance.. Authentic Kerala vibe.. Place has coastal vibe and you will find all coastal and kodava cuisine. I was expecting alot from the place but didn't find that tasty food and at price side also it is bit expensive. You can assume approx Rs 700 to 800 per person (avg). Overall it was a okayish place to dine in.

A good place in church street to have good food and some drinks. Ambience is okay , considering the limited space available. Drinks are good and strong. They charge service tax , which shouldn't be charged. Disappointing to see this still in practice. Also , they only provide bottled drinking water , not normal , which just increases the bill.

It is located near Coles park. We had dinner here. We had Mutton Mandi and Grill chicken here. Biriyani was very dry and not tasty. Grill chicken is ok level. Ambience: Previously the ambience was so good... nowadays, not maintaining properly. Small insects like cockroach are going here and there. The seat covers were dirty and stained. (Need to maintain very well) Parking: Bike Parking in front of the restaurant. Car parking roadside only.

Had apparently and egg stew here. The taste wasn't relating to the way its made in Kerala in any manner. Ordered a Kaithachakka Halwa, but had to return it as it wasn't fresh and had a stale smell. The food items are not reasonably priced as well. If you are looking for good Keralite food, definitely not recommended.
