Tandon's is an incredibly popular tiny little restaurant known for its freshly prepared momos. I am somewhat of a connoisseur when it comes to dumplings which derive its taste from the juice contained within like the Xialongbao. I've had momos of all types and have mostly been disappointed. My foundation momo standard is Sonam Momos Nainital. So with that context, my resolve is it is indeed very simple and excellent just like Sonams. They just prepare the momos freshly, keep the size small such that the meat within is equally distributed. Freshly steamed momos will have the juices oozing out of the boiled mutton within. The best momos dont need any pairing and such is Tandons.
I have been this place quite a few times. Whenever i visited to hometown, i tried to be here. Nice and juicy momos. mutton momos i had tried here so its really yum. However you had to wait for 20 -30 min because they made it fresh.

Hands down the best momos in Dehradun. These are not the regular Delhi style momos, these are juicy filled with real mutton and chicken You've got to have patience here tho, as it takes about 15-20 minutes for them to prepare momos! If you're in Doon, don't miss out on this place.
