Tom's Old Mansion - Hotel in Kochi - Ernakulam, India

We stayed in a budget room (near reception) for 2 weeks. We were previously staying in a hostel with poor staff & hygiene and were SO happy with the service & cleanliness at Tom's Old Mansion, that we decided to extend our stay for 2 weeks! + Mattress was comfortable + Staff were so friendly + No mosquitoes + Perfect location + Ground floor room had great wifi [not all rooms get signal] Please note these are not complaints ( they did not bother us at all), just things to keep in mind if you come stay in the budget room: - There is no hot water - There is no continental food - There are no amenities (TV, Soap, Toilet paper, Kettle etc.) - during our stay, we had VERY noisy guests [not the hotel's fault, but something to keep in mind if you stay on ground floor] The only negative point, which I would give feedback for the hotel is please change your pillows. The original pillows that we got were covered in mould, dirt and must have been many years old, which is not suitable for your guest's health. Thank you for replacing them when we asked, but I suggest you throw away all your old pillows and get new ones. We would happily come back if you do this. Thanks again :)

Very friendly staff and good service. Near beach

We did not expect that the room would be so huge. It is antique too. If the management would remodel this place it could become a 5 star property. Now it is a bit rundown. I have seen a huge cockroach in the bathroom too. Our bathroom was not clean as there was someone's soap in there already. Overall it did not look clean. But our bed was huge and very comfortable. The room was so pretty. Breakfast was big and service was nice. Other than the bathroom I totally loved that place. It in great location too. This hotel was very different from any other hotel as it looked like some noble mans mansion but it has a much bigger potential than what it is now.

We enjoyed 5 days in a fine Room - big and clean. Everybody very nice and helpful. The Indian breakfast was delicius. We look forward to come back soon. This is a photo of our breakfast cook who made det best iddlis

We loved this place.. situated in the popular Princess Street. It was quiet and clean

Fairly okay place in Fort Kochi.... Standard Heritage Rooms are very small approx 9x7 feet with attached bath. . Complimentary Breakfast is minimal with only one omelette, breads, tea or coffee. - - - anything beyond this will have to be paid for. Waiters barely understand English. . Major tourist spots are within walking distance.

Very classy with cafe as well No safe parking option. Ac room available from 1k on wards. Has just like 10 rooms, well maintained. This road is like heart of fort kochi all boutique shops around. Make sure to stay around here!!
