Tolaram Bafna Civil Hospital - Hospital in Guwahati - Kamrup, India

Today visited the hospital for annual health checkup of my mother every year doctor suggests us for regular blood tests like cbc,lipid profile,sugar,tsh etc. This year I thought to bring my mother here as I had heard from many people here its not like other govt hospitals but it wasn't,everywhere govt hospitals are same. The doctor in the dept of medicine room 108 yell at me for asking him,sir please prescribed the regular blood tests as we are doing annually he replied very rudely "the blood tests are going to closed in this hospital i am having the circular from the health dept." When I asked the registration counter he told me politely to go 112 and done your all test. So basically the doctors and health staffs should be trained by govt atleast year long that how to handle patient's and doctor behaviour is main in their profession.

As my opinion this hospital is good for Delivery patient. Once i admitted my elder sister and got good treatment. So i am satisfied with their service.

Worst management, everything thing is unorganized. No one to guide the process. Ifrastructure is unhygienic atmost. Patients are not treated, rather they are suffered. Only good thing is tests are free, although only blood or urine tests are available.

Management could have been better. Grade 4,3 could work more professionally. Doctors managing crowd to emergency patients etc and other staff having tea, other out of hospital work

Not clean and bad smelling. Patient helper wants money from gurdain. They think this is a another way to earn money from gurdain.

People are not working properly like lab people. People are waiting outside so many times. Why they are not doing there work properly.

It is the district civil hospital for Kamrup district. Earlier it was a charitable hospital of TB Trust. Now it is run by Govt
