Toad Rock - Tourist attraction in Mount Abu - Sirohi, India

Toad rock gives you a nice view of Lake Nikki. The place is windy & sunset looks good from there. The hike to Toad rock is very short so anyone can climb up the stairs in 10-15 minutes from the lake. a visit to toad rock will be a good idea if you're already visiting Nikki Lake, otherwise there's nothing special.

No tickets to enter as this is an open for all place to visit just besides of nakki Lake. There isva rock in a shape of toad at the top. About 15 mins of climbing on steps which are broken at some places to reach there After reaching there one can see fantastic view of nakki Lake and surroundings.

A massive rock structure that resembles the toad-like shape jumping into the Lake. It has a pleasant atmosphere and is suitable for trekking and rock climbing with a spectacular view of the lake and hills. It is said that it was named after British army officer Col Todd, who discovered Mount Abu.

Beautiful location from where you can see the whole nakki lake. Had climbed in the early morning just after the sunrise in summers. The stairs are a bit steep but you will love to trek.

My favourite Trek in Mount Abu after Goumukh Trek. I'll share my experience of Toad rock. It is located near Nakki lake in mount Abu. The top of Toad rock can be seen from the ground of Nakki lake also. We knew there would be a crowd in daylight so decided to trek the next early in the morning. Started the trek at 6am and the fog omg you literally cant see a thing from lil bit distance. It was pleasant and scary at the same time. The trek is around 30 min max to climb including a break and photoshoot timing. Only we were there at that time and the fog of course. We did a photoshoot and some site seeing vids and all. Also we met a cute little squirrel at the top (attaching video of it). It was so heavenly beautiful and quiet in the morning. I would recommend avoid going there in daylight when there is much public already there instead of going there early in the morning to witness the fog show and fresh air. View is good. Number of steps to reach the place: 293 Its windy up there Less star because of all the smokers who ruined another public place. Free of cost

This is a must go place in Mt. Abu. Don't give up by seeing the stairs, I promise you will find something out of box when you will reach up, infact you will frel like you are on a different rocky planet (please be careful and watch the kids as it is sloppy up there).The Toad Rock and the view of lake and other side from the will mesmerize you. The stairs needs some maintenance as it makes it riskey for senior people.

Get a view of the Nakki Lake and the surrounding peaks of Mt. Abu after climbing a lot of stairs to the top. The rock itself has been scribbled with nonsensical stuff by teenagers but other than that, the view is nice.
