Tiruthani is One of the six abodes of Lord Muruga. Lord Muruga is giving dharshan to the devotees at the top of the Hill with Matha Valli and Matha Daivayani. One should be very fortunate to witness the festivals that are performed here. One must visit this temple during their life time. To reach Tiruthani there are lots of Government Buses as well as frequent Train Services. From Railway Station there are lots of AutoRickshaws available to reach the temple. From Railway Station there are buses to reach the hill top. However most of the devotees claim by foot only which is considered most auspicious. Claiming by foot also rejuvenates one's health that is the secrets of all Hindu Temples.
One of the connecting station between Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. Railway station is quite tidy. Public convenience to be improved. It takes Half an hour from arakkonam by train. Subramanya swamy temple is 2kms from this station.
Tiruttani to Central Chennai connectivity is very easy to access fr everyone.its very economic expensive only. Local train time duration 1 hour to 1.15mts only.
Thiruthani Murugan Temple (Thiruthani Murugan Temple) is the fifth house of Murugan's six houses. It is located in Thiruthani Hills, Tiruvallur District, North Tamil Nadu, India. This is the place where Lord Muruga got married to Valli. The hill temple has 365 steps to represent the 365 days of the year. Tirupugall is the place where the song was sung by Arunagirinath. A place sung by Muthuchami Dikshatra too. This temple is also known as Tanigai Murugan Temple

Tiruttani murugan temple is one among the arupadai veedugal of Lord muruga and I think it is the only one out of 6 located in North tamilnadu.. It is easily approachable from Chennai by train than bus....you can board a tiruttani train from Chennai central but you should check the train timings well since trains are more limited on weekends.. The temple is about 2 km from railway station either you can walk or take an auto...but auto costs about 120 rs...what I would advice is..only those elderly/of Ill health/can't walk should hire auto..others I would suggest to walk to temple from station.it will be good for you physically and spiritually.. After buying Pooja things and a dip in pond,we can start your ascent to the hill temple...the ascent will be hectic but view from hill top and dharishanam will be breath taking..the steps are so steep and you will have some difficulty to climb.. After reaching the top,you should face a very very long queue to visit the God in karpakraga......but don't worry the queue moves at a reasonable speed and it will take about 30-45 mins to reach inside...this is a free queue.. There is also a 100 rs queue which takes only very few minutes to reach inside.. You will be able to view the God only for less than a minute but that view itself is enough to see the beauty of God and get his belssings.. Pooja is done not at the main good idol but at a separate idol kept away...what irritated me most is that the iyer standing there received Pooja cover, told slogans and he refused to return it and he was extending his hand towards me like a sick beggar...(i.e) he won't return the cover unless I Offer him some amount in his hands like alms...after that I decided that it's far better to give that money to needy people instead of doing.pooja and giving money to these sick filthy fellows... The hill top is not congested ..it's very wide and you can have good walk around temple.. Hill top view is excellent..you can click some.nice photos and take selfies.. Taps are available everywhere...so no water scarcity.. Monkeys seen everywhere around so be cautious with your food items and bags... Return trains are in fixed time so keep track of time and return to station in time... Overall it will be a more tiring journey at the day end but worth it to view the god and get blessings..
For tiruttani and nearby tours i strongly recommend Mr. Saravanan (ss cabs). He has good network to the temples from where he makes sure we get good dharshan. There are 100 km, 150km packages we took 100 km covering tiruttani, tiruvelangadu, matthur
The service was very good at this salon all time. I had been visiting here for the past 3 years, did not felt any worries in there service. One of the best salon for men in thiruttani region.
I was pleasantly surprised by the service in such a small town. I had an electrical problem while travelling and the guys at the service center saved me from a lot of mental stress. Special thanks to Lokesh, who was really helpful, he was knowledgeab
