Very Well maintained Railway Station. Subway connecting Platform first introduced in this Station 50 years back. Have a Good Restaurant. Passenger Waiting Room is maintained neatly. City Buses enter the Station Campus and pick up Passengers. Lot of Good Lodges nearby.
As one of our friend commented it is. Geographically located. In the centre of Tamil nadu, so it has got connectivity to all major cities, via Train, Bus & Airplanes... Amenities are good but what made me dumb struck is the display table of trains alongside platform and arrivals/departure timings which is is missing .. scope to improve . Bet hotels and eateries available, AC waiting halls both govt and private are available .cloak rooms and good toilets available which are cleaned frequently. Overall a better connected well equipped, railway station
Very busy and huge station. Well maintained. Very clean. All passenger amenities available. Recent addition is battery car in the platform for the needy at Rs.30/- per person. Another good initiative is separate pick up point for Ola, it is very useful.
One of the major terminals in the whole of Tamilnadu since it is located right at the centre geographically. It has got decent amenities. But can be improved still on the cleanliness front and also it can be more passenger friendly.
It's a big railway junction, with very clean premises, and having all the facilities, you can use subway for crossing from one platform to another platform, even there are many facilities available for handicap people, old age people etc, battery car facility available for old people who can't walk for far distance.
