Tirtha Tourism (Camping Site):- There is a place called Tirtha across the Chitrakot tourist place, which is popularly known as the best camping site of Bastar! And really, you can enjoy a lot by camping at this place, along with camping, you can also enjoy wood fire, local food, home stay, trekking!
This place, called Tirtha, is very beautiful and is situated on rocky rocks. There are two old temples here and at present, very beautiful work has been done by the Bastar collector Mr. Amit Katariya. Many tourists do not know this place if they see this Chitrakoot waterfall This place should not be too crowded. You can sit here for more time and admit nature and there is not a more populous village. Here are the tribals who cultivate paddy and maize for their livelihood. During the rainy season, the scenery of Paddy field and the Chitrakoot takes you to a different world. This place is very suitable for Photographers.
Tirtha is from another side of Chitrakoot Waterfall which is a magnificent waterfall in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh state of India, on the river Indravati. This waterfall's height is 90 feet. The specialty of this waterfall is that during the rainy days, during the summer moonlight night, this water is reddish. This fall is a must-visit for anyone remotely interested in natural beauty, in the Bastar district, about 276 km from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, and 33km from Jagdalpur. It is really an epitome of bliss and gives calmness to the soul instantly. The best time to come here is during the monsoon. You can also see a stunning rainbow running through the misty sky from July to September, often right after the storm, making the visit worth it. However, because of the cool and nice weather, the winter months from November to January can also be a great time to visit the falls. Its a good picnic spot
