Hospital is good but staffs not available every time
Top tier Govt. Hospital in Tinsukia. It has became a main hub of Health Services in Tinsukia. Hospital is well maintained after the start of NRHM( now NHM). Hospital cleaning is outsourced due to which Hopital premise (both inside and outside) look clean and tidy. Almost all services are available in Tinsukia Civil Hospital including Medicine, Surgery, O&G, Paediatrics, Dental, ENT, Eye care, Immunization etc. It also has full fledged 24 hours Blood bank. Specialist Doctors for almost all Depts. are available. New building is constructed for special services in Mother and Child Health which is a boon for beneficiaries.
Only problem with hospital is the attitude and behavior of most of the staff. At times, they are very rude to the patients. They need to be trained to deal with the awkward behavior and questions of the rural illiterate patients.They should be asked to be polite and cooperative.
