love the place but the main reason why we come here is the food. the ramen taste like samyang noodles, they just added some chicken and veggies. i only like the fried rice. also the food is a bit expensive and the most disappointing things is they don't have all the menu i ask for beef and pork which wasn't available. stocked should be check all the time. how can u have food shortage.

5 star for the best restaurant in Manipur :) You have got to try their Thai fried rice and lime juice. Customer service is excellent. The good thing about this place is that even when it's packed, your orders don't take long. I love everything about this place; the decor is not overdone and you get a lovely view if you sit outside. I have one request though, the owner should really consider having some live music on weekends ;)

Had a pleasant experience at this Cafe with my friends. The foods we ordered were good but can be better. The location of the restaurant gives a bird eyes view of the city. However, the price was a bit more considering the little amount of the food served.

Absolutely heavenly scenery during the evening when the sun sets.... And the food is really good, tasty and also very affordable.

For me it was a 3 star restaurant. Timbers got a good atmosphere, and its not overcrowded. The servers were attentive and professional. The value for money for non exotic items was good. And for exotic items like octopus was a little high as per the qty. Therefore 3 stars for the food being decent for the price. So we ordered hotwings and stir fry octopus for starters, mains some Pad Thai noodles with pork and chichen something Spaghetti and probably some pork dish. With a coffee and shake for drinks. The hot wings were either not fresh or overdone, the exterior was leathery and hard, the interior was out of juices. The octopus was a decent stir fry, I mean you can't go wrong with such an easy dish.. The mains were decent however lacked any wow factor which I thought comes with hype of Timber as a restaurant. Also we had to send a search party for the chicken and pork in the spaghetti and noodles respectively. Things that made me uncomfortable are.. I waited 40 mins to use the washroom, coz staff were using it, and they were professional but not courteous, we were turned away as we arrived 10 mins before time, they could have let us sit and wait. I had tried Popa earlier, a small restaurant and bakery nearby, the food and prices were better and a more courteous and homely atmosphere.

Good place for viewing and photo shoot. While the service is good the food is horrible. The lambchop that i had ordered was made from stored meat which had that bad smell and taste from prolong storage, it was so dry and practically had zero taste, no salt no taste of meat flavor just plain disgusted. The mashed potato aslo has that plain taste no salt no butter. So, my conclusion is, what good is a restaurant if the food is prepared just for namesake to fill the menu!

Order multiple items today. 1. Cappuccino was okayish. Not great. Quantity was less too. Not sure if there was a large option. 2. Brown Rice Green Tea was good. 3. Spaghetti (see picture if that was Spaghetti) was NOT eatable. The meat in meat ball was still alive!! 4. "Japanese" Cheese Cake was just a regular cake. It was NOT even a regular cheese cake. Forget being a "Japanese" cheese cake. 5. The young servers were okay. They need a bit more training perhaps. We ordered 3 cappuccino. It was served promptly. However, we were given just 3 sugar packets, 1 coffee stirrer!! and 4-5 napkins after a few minutes. We requested them to bring extra sugar packet, 2 more coffee stirrer and more napkins. Coffee was barely warm by then as we were sitting outside. The 3 stars is for the new ambience on the terrace which is amazing. Location is great. Ample of parking space which is a luxury for a place like Imphal. This could become a favourite hangout place! I hope to visit again soon and hoping against hope that the food taste better. I will happily change it to 5 stars then.
