Nice place. We visited during monsoon and the river Narmada was getting flooded at a fast rate. The river bank (ghat) was totally submerged underwater. However, it wasn't extremely dangerous as no one was affected. The local shops were moved due to rising levels of river water. Places like riverbanks must be avoided during this season. Overall the place is hygienic and beautiful. Good spot to enjoy wit family.Bathing ghat for locals Looks nice as this place is an important bathing ghat for local people. Ok ok Ghat is good but it's maintanance isn't. And during evening aarti Pujaris and devotees, dedicated flower petals to the Maa Narmada river which polluted it! We so called literate people certain rituals without applying mind at all.

Way to tilwara ghat is so beautiful street....in the middle of mountains Divine experience with natural beauty of holy river... Beautiful and peaceful for meditation... At evening there is narmada arti also do by pandits in proper way... Boating and deepdan also do by people .... Here you feel positive vibes... But i suggest only one thing this place needs cleaning proper....

Second most popular ghat in Jabalpur after Gwarighat, you can literally feel the peace and divine in the air. Ghat is beautifully developed clean and well maintained. Evenings are best time to visit along with boat ride you can indulge in local shopping. Ghat offer spectacular view of tilwara bridge the view is just mesmerizing. If you are in Jabalpur be sure to add this as a place to visit.
