Beautiful complex with lush green lawns and nice spacious rooms. The staff was very cooperative and went out of the way to cook food for me around my white flower and corn flower allergies.
Very good property to stay near Gorumara. Murty river, Lataguri, Chalsa all are near by.
Well maintained. Green all around. Beside highway, still quite. Well behaved staffs. Good service. Food quality very good.
Resort is beautiful with lots of plants and greenery. Staff are very helpful.Rooms are quite big and clean bathroom with expensive bathroom fittings.
Few meters down you hit tea plantation and forest good for morning walk but be careful of wild elephants.
Resort staff helped me with my safari tickets which I booked online and safari guys came at resort in early morning to pick us up. Just pay some extra 200 bucks else you have to go to forest office which is 5 km away and get the tickets.
I stayed in cottage 105 which needs pest control as I found lizard on bed and insects around. Breakfast has standard menu but they could not serve eggs one day which is part of the complementary bf as it ran out of stock. The old fellow at kitchen had a very casual attitude as stock did not come.
Location, ambience is beautiful.
It has a mini museum including activity zone for children.
Would be amazing for educational trips.
The entire ambience is adventurous yet romantic.
The variety of food is limited but tastes amazing. Special recomendation would be their thalis, russian salad, chicken stew and caramel pudding.
One can explore the nearby forests of jaldapara, lataguri,murti etc.
The property is really good and is very well maintained. The rooms are large, with huge glass windows offering nice outside views. Even they have side pillows on the bed. Staff behavior and service is also very good.
The only con side is that we found electric supply here is a bit irregular. We faced multiple electric cuts, and it took 5 to 10 minutes for the power backup to kick in. In the night, some people might find it a bit scary.
The property is decent and well maintainee but we had a mixed experience. The first day we stayed in the cottage the rooms were excellent. Everything was calm and peaceful. Second day we stayed in the new building 1st floor, the rooms are bit smaller but with glass windows. .
Second day there was an oustide party in the property so there was crowd all around. Dinning room was occupied by them with loud music. The entire feel of the jungle and peacfulness was gone.
In the new building the wifi didn't work and so was the intercom. In the morning we had to leave early and there was no water in the washroom, we had to walk all the way to the reception to inform however the matter was immediately resloved. Housestaff were very nice gentle and service was good.
Property and the rooms are excellent and the tarrifs are very reasonable infact. Our experience might be one of a case but comparing the rates and overall service I would recommend this place. I liked the cottages more than the new building rooms.
A very unique place to have a weekend blust. Nice Restaurant. Having many photo taking places. From here one can visit murti, lataguri, garumara, mahakal mandir, Gazoldoba, malbazar. Very friendly staffs. This resort can be used as a day out destination.
The Tourism Property is on the main road, with the Gorumara Wildlife Interpretation Centre, a lot of expansion work is going on. The entry pathway is to be covered by pavers.
The restaurant is at the centre and the cottages are spaced and designed beautifully.
