Tiger Tiger - Restaurant in Madikeri - Kodagu, India

Local cuisine tastes much better when you have your lunch at Tiger Tiger. We ordered pork (pandi) curry which was awesome in taste with soft pieces alongwith rice rotis which went well with it. Refreshing lime juices were had as an beverage. Overall the home cooked food was lip smacking and made us kept craving till the end. Service was quick and good homely atmosphere was maintained.

Place is very well decorated and ambience wise extraordinary.I loved their diversified Menu.But unfortunately their hospitality doesn't impressed me.Only one lady is there and she don't know other languages.Food was not ready at 7 pm so I left after a long wait.

'Tiger Tiger' is one of the best dining options in madikeri. It's a small family run resturant so don't expect fine dining experience but you can get fine food here. Tiger Tiger offers traditional Coorg cuisine. The essence of food here is in its subtlety in use of spices. We had Koli curry (chiken curry) combo including Rice otti (rice chapati), Kadambuttus (steamed rice balls) and Paputtu (rice cake with cardamom and coconut) and Pepper chicken. All items were tasty. This is a must try option for local Coorg cuisine. Weekly closure on Wednesdays.

Located opposite to rajaseat, this is a gem of a place. They serve excellent home style food, which we loved. The people are always smiling and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious if you are looking for authentic homestyle kodava cuisine. A must visit place if you are in madikeri. Good food good people.

Had chicken cutlet which was awesome, had chicken curry combo also felt like chicken pieces were big which made the pieces hard and not fully cooked. Had pork fry, my first experience. Its good, but 1/3rd portion is fat which i didn't liked. Owner is very humble.

Took a short trip(25thOct23) to Club Mahindra Madikeri. Heard of this place Tiger Tiger. Quaint little place for Kodavu cuisine. Be careful of Google Maps, which said, "Turn right, which is a steep stairway down !! Park your vehicle on top and walk dow. Itt's very steep, so beware. For non vegetarian, try the pandi (pork) curry with kadabutu (round rice balls). For dessert, try the passion fruit jelly ice cream. Bon Appetit!

A small and cozy dining experience. The restaurant serves food based on authentic Kodagu cuisine, like an aromatic ghee rice garnished with crispy onions, various meat based curries and starters. Overall a great experience with delicious food to pair with the monsoons.

Authentic kodava cuisine, located nearby to Raja seat and not a go to restaurant, but situated inside an old house. Home cooked food, very delicious and lip smacking. Liked the pork very much.
