Must visit place for nature, wildlife and bird lovers. You can come here with your family, and friends along with kids. Very well maintained and administered park. They have Gypsy . Pre booking of the safari is advisable at least few months in advance since this place is always very crowded. We were lucky to see the tiger in the our safari. Good place for birding, you can easily spot lots of birds in a safari. Avoid littering in the jungle.

Must visit place for wildlife lovers..!!! Enjoy the mesmerising sight of magnificent beast- Royal Bengal Tiger..... Do plan your visit 2 or 3 months before as safari bookings are hard to get. Also the emergency bookings cost 4 times as much.. Book at least 2 safari to increase your chances of sightings more & more animals..

Beautiful pristine forest with diverse fauna. One can watch a variety of entomofauna, avifauna (especially Lesser Adjutant Stork) and mammals like hares, deers (spotted, sambar and barking), wild dogs, jackals, mongooses, gaurs, leopards and how can I not mention- The Bengal Tiger! The place also has records of Black Panther (a melanistic leopard).

Tadoba was the second national park I have visited. Just awesome it is what o felt. We were 6 friends in a group and we stayed in tadoba tiger king resort which was very close to the entry gate. Resort was large with large rooms, beautifully designed pools and gardens. We saw number of tigers... Yes tigers on each n every safari.... Leopard also.... Langurs, peacock, barking Deer, spotted dear, sambar, nilgai, etc. Overall a must visit. and do not forget to book your safari 2-3 months in advance and you can contact some travel agency .

One of the beat place for seeing tigers and other mammals/birds. Do visit in weekdays. Book safari atleast 60-90 days well in advance. And it is better to book through agent. Once of the hottest place in India, so beware. Tiger sighting is matter of luck, so don't upset, if you don't see tiger. Do minimum 4 safaris.

Not only the tiger but whole jungle of tadoba has a lot to offer . thanks to Tadoba Safari Booking agency who helped me to plan my trip. Tadoba is famous for it's tiger sightings but you have to keep in mind that it is a national park and not a zoo! Seeing a tiger in the wild is exhilarating but do not be disappointed if you don't see one. There are tons of things to see in Tadoba! Tadoba has many bird species and if you are keen on it; you will see quite a few. There are quite a few ways of entering into Tadoba NP. Nagpur is the closest major city to reach Tadoba. Tadoba has multiple gates each connecting to different parts of the Forest. The most popular one is Moharli which is approx 4 hours drive from Nagpur. This place has the highest number of vehicles entering the park (30). It also has a big number of resorts for your stay. The second gate (one I usually prefer) is called Kolara. It is around 2.5 hours drive from Nagpur. Number of vehicles on this gate are limited to 8 and hence there isn't as much rush in the morning. There are a few other gates, and all gates in Tadoba have very good sighting of tigers. Buffer zones and core zones both have very good sighting Food: Morning rides in Tadoba are approx.5 hours long and it's recommended to carry light snacks. There are no food joints inside the national park. Heat protection: Tadoba gets extremely hot during day time; temp easily reaching 45 degrees Celsius during summers. Hence it is recommended to wear full sleeved clothes to avoid getting sun-burn. Photography: If you use an SLR. Camera you have to pay additionally for lenses above 300 mm length. Have change ready for the same.
