The site is frequented by various tourists for indulging in adventure activities like rafting, when the stream flow is medium. Perfect for trekking, this site encloses safe spots for viewing the valley and its nearby surroundings. Best time to visit would be Monsoon when one can see several small waterfalls around the hills.
Good view point. But not very clean. People have thrown lot of wrappers and bottles. Locals/Authorities should take care of it. And warn and remind tourists if they litter. Otherwise people will slowly stop visiting this place.
Tiger/Shooting point & Lion point are nearby with same or similar ambience. Great views of valley and sunrise/ sunsets to enjoy here, with lot of food options from nearby eateries. Food items are pricey, however worth the cost as they provide you with good seating options - eat and enjoy the scenic beauty. Public should avoid littering the place, local authorities should arrange to keep these places better, and canteens can arrange dustbins to avoid littering. Parking charges of Rs50 are levied when you exit, however no one manages parking!
Went on a weekday so not much of rush. But area needs to be maintained clean as lot of rubbish scattered around ground. Since monsoon was over not much waterfalls seen but greenery was still there.
The view is good and the place also has paid parking (but can park in the road itself during non peak hours at your own risk). Few small shops are there to get some snacks and water. One of the must visit place if you are travelling to Lonawala :)
Breathtaking view... Awesome point to see the entire Lonavala.. Especially in monsoon.... Point is quite large and there is enough space for even huge crowds.... Camel riding also available... Food and snacks points are available on the point... So one can enjoy the view and eat at the same time..very large parking space on the other side of the road is also available... Highly Recommended....!
Consider visiting this location in the early morning when the roads and surroundings are enveloped in a serene misty fog. It's the perfect setting to enjoy the company of your favorite person
Sunset Point is truly a natural wonder that left me in awe. Located in the picturesque town of Lonavla, this spot offers an unforgettable experience. The primary attraction, as the name suggests, is the breathtaking sunset view. I can't emphasize enough how stunning it is. The sky transforms into a mesmerizing canvas of colors as the sun sets behind the hills. It's a perfect spot for photographers and nature enthusiasts. The ambiance at Sunset Point is serene and tranquil. The fresh mountain air, the sound of the breeze rustling through the trees, and the panoramic views create an atmosphere of pure relaxation.
Lonavala is a hill station in Maharashtra. It is surrounded by green valleys in western India. The Karla caves and the Bhaja caves are ancient Buddhist shrines carved out of rocks. There are dams , lakes, and adventure for everyone, One can
Very famous Location at Lonavala hilltop, where every part of this region is marvelous. Just stand wherever you are and the scenic beauty will mesmerize you. What more I can say," just be there and enjoy the moment." P&V credit - Aashish Chille &
