Complete bummer of a attraction. Most certainly one to be missed. The lion and tiger are reduced to living in small cages. The drive thru is in a rickety minibus which is travelling at high speed and misses any time to appreciate the surroundings. The park authorities really ought to think of improvement to the animals living conditions.
It's good. But it's not safari but zoo cum safari. Lion and tiger are in cage so are u !!
Sanjay Gandhi National Park tiger safari in Borivali, Mumbai. only one open caged Lion and two open caged tigers and few deer can be seen. Not worth the price and waste of time. Kanheri Caves are good 7 km within the national park.
It's was awesome experience at tigar and lion safari. It's good attempt of national park for tourists to take them into the world of these animals. There is three tigers and four lions. One tiger is open rest animals are in the cage for safety precautions. This is safari is wonderful experience for kids and children. Service needs to be improve little. Overall good experience.

Today (07.08.2021) parknis open only for morning walk and cycling. Morning walk timings are 5.30am to 7.30am & for cycling and visitors timimgs are 7.30am to 9.30am only. Park remains totally closed on every Monday's.
Good place and such great experience to see tigers face to face
A good experience but the bus was not good. We were able to see lion and tiger and both were very healthy. It's good to see that jungle people are taking good care of them. The cost is 70 Rs and kids 28 for kids There is no cost for children below 5 Video shooting cost you and it needs permission. Do arrive early to avoid rush.
Basically there are tigers, tigress', a lion and a lioness, just like zoo they are kept in cages but huge cages. As and when required, they release any one of them, out of the cage and let it roam in the jungle which is the only thing which makes this safari cool. Small roads between the jungle, gives that fearsome feel. Overall a good thing with kids. Overall a 10 minute journey costs you 90rs. Fair deal. Earlier there used to lion and tiger safari differently but now they are same. Try to be seated on the left hand side and ask the driver if you can get the front seat, it will help you get a clearer picture. ;) Enjoy
