Hey Tic Tac! This review is 5 years late! Years ago I visited your place when i was on my trip to Chennai. After a few months I was really missing Chinese food like how we get in Malaysia. But all the restaurants made the food in a fusion way and I didn't like it at all. I visited a museum near your place on Montieth Road and ate my heart out. I complimented the chef too. I dont know if he even understood me. But I was so happy. I sat cross legged on the chair, took out my chopsticks and started eating all I ordered. I remember the waiters just staring at me! I was so happy! Thank you for that wonderful experience. I hope that you guys are doing well now. May business always bloom for you! Stay safe, stay prosperous! We have known this place since long...and while the food is delicious, the new space is too small. There were two large groups the night we went and their conversations, even though not super loud, it was all overlapping. Service was slightly slow as well....and in case you need the washroom....you need to go through the kitchen. My suggestion.....order in...because the food is definitely worth a try.
Quality of the food is very poor. 1. We have ordered Corn soup. Which is very very thick and it is like a creamy pasta consistency. While we asked the server, he told that Here it will be in this consistency only. 2. Panner Butter masala. There is no taste like butter in that. I have tried panner butter masala in many hotels. This is my fav dish. But they made me to hate this. 3. Butter naan. It is only a Naan with No salt in that. AC is working only in owner seat. And customer will be treated with A cealing fan.. Overall a very bad experience though it is near Gemini.. Suggestion: PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE..
It's a very nice place with good food at reasonable pricing. Pleasant ambience with friendly staff. Highly recommended place to visit. Very light on wallet and stomach.
Love the taste of Tic tic restaurant. Tadoor Roll are great, fish was good and overall food was made nice. Good choice for dineout family n friends.
