Tibetan Shops - Clothing store in Kodaikanal - Dindigul, India

The highlight of this place is Tibetan shops. The Tibetan people sell all winter wear in many varieties and qualities. They sell original wool sweaters and jackets. They sell handmade sweaters and jackets that are made from pure wool at good quality. But the prices are too high. Almost all the shops quote the same prices. You need to bargain a lot before you buy. I would suggest not to buy very expensive items from here.. for the time being just buy what you require for the moment. You can also get to buy things like homemade chocolate and fancy items. Many toy shops are there, but don't buy anything. Because it's very costly as they bring those only from madurai.

Purchased two sweaters for my kids, head caps, sweater and Jenkins for adults. All of good quality and with reasonable cost.

Rates are bit high u need to bargain....u will get different stuffs of Tibet there including sweaters, shawl, bags etc

Good place to buy warm woolen clothes. Innumerable options. Good quality fabric. Helpful and polite approach from shopkeepers. But they have a fixed price for everything and no matter how much you buy they will not come down on their price.

They really have great collections of blankets and winter wears. Beautiful sweaters and shawls. But OMG price !!! Prices are similar to branded shops. No bargaining. Fixed price.

They have a good variety of FIRST COPY items of various brands like Adidas, Reebok, Nike etc but are grossly overpriced. The scope of bargaining is also very less. A lot of the shopkeepers are very arrogant and polite. The place is not at all worth the hype. And the items sold are also not so good in quality.

They sell quality woollen, jackets etc at fixed price. The Tibetans claim they're made in Tibet. I've had very good experience with the woollen bought from them. Highly recommended.
