I am grateful to my cousin's surgical endocrinologist, Dr. Ravikumar, for his thyroid gland cyst removal. Hearing that he had a cyst and that it might be cancer made him scared. Through the help of one of our relatives who works as a doctor, we were able to locate Dr. Ravikumar. The surgeon was amiable and approachable; he thoroughly outlined the benefits and drawbacks of the procedure in everyday terms and the surgery proceeded without a hitch. When we had gone for 1st time consultation for my wife, Dr Ravikumar spent a good amount of time to for consultation and clarifying all doubts. He is undoubtedly patient friendly and subject matter expertise. Fortunately, It was him, who found out the nodule in the thyroid gland, which was left unnoticed by us. Later, we had planned full thyroidectomy by him, who explained the complete process involved in the surgery and post surgery. He also upfront clearly explains the complete procedures involved right from hospital admission, surgery to post discharge, which helped us to avoid panic during the surgery and post discharge. Writing this review three months post-surgery. A thyroidectomy performed by Dr. Ravikumar at PSG Hospital. My wife is doing well with no noticeable issues post-surgery, and her menstrual cycle has returned to normal. While aware that this was a major procedure, our sole source of hope rested in Dr. Ravikumar. Throughout and after the surgery, the follow-up from Dr. Ravikumar deserves appreciation.
