"Had an amazing time hanging out with friends at this place. The climate was perfect and the cleanliness of the area added to the overall experience. Countless memories were made, making it one of my best days ever. Would highly recommend for a fun time!"
It's a lovely beautiful sandy beach with small rock bridges on either side! The beach has some coconut trees which give some relaxation, especially in the afternoon while all are looking for some shade! For us, It's our home beach! The beach is having very less shore compared to other beaches but if you are visiting nearby here then you can spend a little time here! The beach is situated approximately 5KM from Cherthala, 8KM from Andhakaranazhi and 3KM from Arthunkal!
Its superb , one of the cleanest and least Crowded beach, the beach road is very poor, less number of restaurants nearby, parking also is bad, anyway its a small beach and the less crowd makes it very calm, the pile of rocks gives an awesome place to sit peacefully, must visit atleast once,
What a amazing beach !! Very strong heavy waves, be careful, but so much fun, pure beauty, nicely separated so not too crowded
Clean and beautiful beach in Alappuzha
Thyckal Beach, located in Kadakkarappally; roughly 2 to 3 kms from xherthala Town, Alappuzha district.Kerala, is one of the popular beaches in Cherthala. A beach with a few hamlets of local fishermen lot. The beach is not very wide however. But a good place to spend a quiet evening by the sea. No restaurants or eateries by the beach. This beach has a Shiva temple by its side. And there is place where people perform special pooja offerings for the departed souls. Thyckal beach is the beach that is closest to the Cherthala town. Weekends are moderately crowded. Not recommended to visit during monsoons since the beach is not much wide.
One of the beste beach in this area. Beer you have to bring with you. No bar here
On our way from Trivandrum to Irinjalakuda, we chose the scenic route this time by taking NH66 after a deviation from Alappuzha Bypass. And we loved the route a lot. On this route, near Ernakulam is a secluded paradise of sorts called Ottamassery Bea
