Thuthuvalai Ayyanar Temple - Hindu temple in Thandupathu - Tuticorin, India

I love this place very much as it is our ancestors diety. There will be a temple in the middle surrounded by red sand. There will be many trees. The temple is located in the outskirts of village and the place will be quiet and calm. You can plan to visit tiruchendur, if you are planning here. You can also avail restroom and mandapa facilities here. One of the charming places located near the east coast of thoothukudi district. There are many temples like this in that region.

Small temple with vast area around it. Beautiful surrounding planted with trees. There is a special tree variety there in which if you scrub any name on that tree it will get 3D effect and remains in that tree for many years. You can see a 3D "CSK" on that tree in my uploaded image. You can also see "Raju" written by me in a image and I am waiting for it to turn 3D.

A well maintained temple. Rooms are available to stay. Very calm and quiet place

Nice place they have planted many varieties of tree . Nice red sand it was remembering my childhood schools days. This was the first time i visited this temple whereas as we crossed many times in the same road udankudi- paramankurchi.

It's great to be in your diety place before you start up any major development initiatives.
