Thunchan Memorial Trust & Research Center - Historical place museum in Tirur - Malappuram, India

Located in Tirur and dedicated to the memory of the father of Malayalam language, Thunchathu Ezhuthachan. Entry is free, but photography is prohibited. If needed a fee of 50 INR can be paid for allowing photography..... Greenery invites you inside.....There is a huge Kilimakal along with the ezhuthaani inside.... An art library and also an open stage can be seen inside.....Along with this halls for literary meetings and resthouses are available.....

Thunchanth ezhuthachan memorial, who is often considered as the father of malayalam language. A serene place, though a lot of construction is being made recently. One can find ancient artefacts of kerala preserved in the museum and a brief of history as well

Very calm atmosphere, trees are surrounded and very cool place for sitting idle and calm mind. Very recommended place for family , friend and childrens. We can acknowledge more about our tradition and our legacy. Most attractive is there is no entrance fee. Keralites must need to visit there and worth it.

Great place,It is the most important historic place of the language malayalam,I visited there at the day of mahanavami

It's so Calm to sit and relax there.such a good place But make sure that there is no programs going on bcz then it will be so crowded and noisy . We visited one such day of "MT vasudevan nair's 90th Bdy celebration" ..But yeah it was nice since could meet many writers and get to know more books they wrote

The memorial of the Father of modern Malayalam language Sri Thunchath Ramanujan Ezhuthachan. Situated near Tirur in Malappuram district the centre houses the old home of the poet, meeting hall, open auditorium, library and a malayalam museum. Hostel facility available.

Sitting there and enjoying the calm and beautiful air is another level feeling. Proud that the legend M T Vasudevan Nair is holding the chair of the trust and they were doing a really good job of promoting our language and traditions.

This place has a positive energy.Very peaceful place. It offers a calm atmosphere in the middle of town. When i walked through the corriders here a light of literature,poetry and spirituality awakens in me. A memorial tribute which is well maintained.A cultural fest called 'Thunchan ulsavam' is hosted here for four days in every year. This is a great place to spend time with family and friends. There is a library facility here. this place is located near by another echo turism spot called NOOR LAKE
