No longer clean. By all appearances people are dumping waste into the sea in bulk and it washes up. See pics. There are tyre tracks too, very sus. This and lots of sick stray dogs with no hair remaining. Disgusting evening.
The beach was nice , the fisherman and boats were mostly there,and people just came around. Although there was no food in the beach area.
Thumba beach, This place is situated at a calm place near kazhakkoottam(5KM from technopark) .Today I selected this place to ride my bicycle. This is not the first time I'm visiting this place.There is lots of memories connected with this place for me. I rather say a must visit place if you are not in a good mood and if you are in a good mood. We will always feel calm and quite here. Mostly I prefer morning vibes( before 7 AM) We can see the people working on fishing morning sun and all that. There is no payment needed for visiting the same and I just use this place as a refreshment I love to be alone and hugged with the nature when I feel bad. Note: This is not a place like varakala beach or something like that. but it is also nice to see. We can travel to this place by any type of vehicle like bike, cycle ,car also bus service is available
It's a neat beach not much litter here and there , compared to the other beaches in Trivandrum . There are a lot of stray dogs , but we just walked away from them . If you ever do visit this beach keep safe!
Its really a gem of a spot ..situated behind vssc thumba ...not at all crowded and calmm....you can enjoy evening times here ..no rush and crowd at all..really difficult to find such a good spot with less crowd...can take your bike into the beach..cars are not accessible as the way is a small path...no shops and alle nearbyy
The beach has potential to be a good tourist spot. The tourism department and the corporation can initiate activities to develop the beach.
