Thulasi Resort - Resort hotel in Palani - Dindigul, India

We had stopped for lunch on August 13th 2023. We were a party of 20. We had asked at the gate of there was enough food for the 20 of us, he said yes. So we got down. But there wasn't even food for the 10 of us. Half cooked rice, 2 curries and No appalam and Pickle, the meal cost 120 rupees. The chicken was under cooked and we have to ask multiple times for water. They also charged a ridiculous amount for this food. The food was Terrible, the service was bad and overall an unhappy experience. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The server was rude, half of us didn't even get served properly. Change your security as well. If you dont want to waste your money, skip this place and go elsewhere.

Service was very poor and food was overpriced. Not a place to have lunch.

I ordered for lunch and the service is too bad really takes more than 20 minutes to serve. We reached at 12 pm and the said lunch is there but after keep on waiting only we got food.Not worth for the money. Irresponsible and irrespective too.

Food is good but restroom is very dirty

I visited there for having lunch only. Food is good but the rate seemed like bit high for the food provided. But their service and attitude was good. Nice ambience too.

Pathetic food ,delayed service and basic hand wash water got over

Worst Attitude by the manager/owner of the restaurant. We just walked in by 3pm and asked if there is lunch or not. They said its there. we are a family of 6 adults and 4 kids. Most of the order was for Veg Meals and one Veg Fried rice. Solid it took 20-30 mins for them to bring the food to the table. What they served is : 1spoon of beetroot poriyal rice applam sambar rasam pulikulambu please note here that the following items are not there that we get in any hotels that serve meals. No Sweet No Curd No Kootu Pickle - have to ask many times No people to serve you also and we served ourselves there is no beetroot to serve you further as its over with that single spoon So basically we ate what was available and we went for billing. We saw that the meals rate was Rs.120 We asked the lady manager who seems to be owning the resort+restaurant, that have you eaten meals in any restaurant that serve you meals for Rs.120 One should have seen the attitude of the lady. Within a fraction of second, she started shouting at us as if she is the customer we are the one who is answerable. Question she asked shocked us even further. She asked us what did i not serve you to bill us 120 for a meal. 120 for a meal is actually lavish for a place like palani where you get everything unlimited. Haven't included the complete statements she spoke. In my whole life, haven't seen such an attitude in any of my restaurant visits. Really worried. The people who run the restaurant business should have the patience to answer the customers else just be quiet. There are many people who are polite. I will never ever recommend this place for eating!!!

Okish place towards Kodai Road from Palani. Best place for a bachelor party and get together.
