A small station inside the THRISSUR city. Only a few trains stop here. There are 2 platforms. Please check the train timetable before you travel, whether the train halt here. Some shops are there outside. One can park comfortably the two wheeler; few four wheelers also can be parked. There is a level crossing nearby. Avoid that road, if you are in a hurry to go somewhere. Sometimes the gates are closed for 15 minutes for trains to cross. There are benches on the platforms where one can sit and relax in the mornings and evenings. Few elderly people can be seen walking in the evenings. Less crowded most of the time.

A small but decent , rushless railway station which is nearer to thrissur railway station.Almost all basic food , transport facilities available outside the railway station.There is only stop for passenger trains and only some Express / super fast trains.As there is no rush you can easily take a ticket without waiting.Thrissur railway station is the next station from here which is very close , as you can reach there in 5mins.

Very small station next to Thrissur. Most of the trains dont stop here. That's why not a busy station. Very clean surroundings. No announcements for information. Very good seats arranged by private participation.

Well maintained, clean and calm station. Amenities are limited. Though passenger trains have stops, express trains hardly stops here. I would definitely recommend this place for railfanning.
