Thrissur Corporation Stadium is a football stadium owned by Thrissur Municipal Corporation. Situated in Thrissur city, it is also known as Palace Stadium. It is one of the oldest stadiums in Kerala, India and has capacity to hold 15,000 people. After renovation, and it has been lifted to international standards.The stadium has first synthetic football turf in Kerala state and FIFA 2 star certification. Municipal Corporation Stadium was the venue for the largest and highest temporary stadium in the world according to Guinness World Records, which can hold 35,000 spectators at a height of 70 feet. The stadium was constructed for the Federation Cup (India). It was also venue for Federation Cup in April 1990.

I visited a sports facility that offered football, skating, and basketball. The playing surfaces were well-maintained and in excellent condition, with clear markings and plenty of space for each activity. It was a great place for anyone interested in these sports to visit and have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Wikipedia says it's FIFA approved stadium but did not meet my expectations. Potential be a lot better. Good ground but no synthetic track. No sun roofs, trees blocking views... It's sad to see there are no high class stadium in a city like Thrissur.

Wide gallery with normal seatings , dressing room facilities for players are available... People also used to come for morning walks... Easily reachable spot...

Nice venue for indoor sports and Events. Cons: poor air ventilation No air conditioning Dusty seats.
