I stay in dormitory here, The owner just created an extra dormitory on the terrace with very below average furniture. Not worth staying here if you are a solo traveller as there is no good ambiance or people to connect with just book a good hostel place nearby only. Reply to Owners comment: Dear owner please go and have look at other backpackers hostels and see in 300-400 Rs how beautiful rooms they provide. Take your reviews in positive way Doctor. Dont just try to argue with everyone, look beyond money too.

I stayed in the dormitory at this hostel, and I found the rooms to be a bit small for my liking. The two-person bed was only about 4 feet wide, so it was a bit tight for two people to sleep in. There were also no bed sheets provided, which was a bit of a surprise. The top bunks did not have curtains, as shown in the pictures, and there was only one bathroom for 8 people.(don't expect much at this price but you will know when you will see it). I have stayed in dorms,but the room itself is too small to adjust 2 queen beds and imagine fitting 8 people in it. I would not recommend the canoying trip that the hostel offers. The price is quite high, and I felt like we were not getting our money's worth. The scenery was nice, but the boat ride was not very exciting. If you want to go on a ferry ride, you can do that for much cheaper at ferry station. The owners were nice to us. They helped us in keeping our bags and provided info about local places to eat and visit. Overall, I found the hostel to be a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were small, but the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was good.

Great value home stay. Good location right bedside Alleppey beach. Thomas is a very nice host that can give local recommendations. There is a kitchenette, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge.

I was shocked to see some negative reviews on here because I had a wonderful stay in Thoms house, we arrived late and he helped us to organise a backwaters day trip and also recommended a restaurant for dinner which was the nicest food I have had in my time in India! (Muthassikoottu Restaurant) he also organised Tuktuks for us when needed. The rooms are not the most luxurious but when you are paying approx. 300 rupees they are more than acceptable. Very bed experience that was.while booking on app their was not any option who sowed that children are not allowed.when we reached place uncle says child is not allowed my baby was only 1.3 year old. We had booked tow rooms and we were 3 adults and 1my little baby . They says if you want to say hear upgrade your room otherwise cancel your booking. They absolutely know that there is no cancellations policy. We even complained but that staff say sorry for our mistake,We will not repeat again. All those room was empty yet they didn't agree and took more money from us.there were no other hotels around and we had a lot of luggage and my 1.3 year old baby . We had to spend the night only and had to leave at 5:30 morning,so we had to obey them.but i was very wrong with us.

First of all, the owner of this property Mr. Thoms doesn't know how to behave with clients. He'll just lure u by his sweet words & loot ur money. There are much better & affordable homestays nearby. U'll regret if u book this homestay.

It was a very small dormitory where rooms are suffocating. We booked two person bed and that 2 person bed was around 4 feet in width. So it was really congesting for people to stay in it. Second thing, owner hadn't provided bed sheets for the bed which was bad. There were no curtains provided as it's shown in the pictures for the top bunkers. Then for 8 people there was only 1 bathroom. Another problem is mosquitoes present in the home that is also an issue, although he does provide mosquito coils. Don't fall in the trap of them for a cannoying trip where they will promise sightseeing of local villages on the boat. They will ask you for 1000rs. But it was really not worth of that. Around 50% of the money will go in his pocket. If you want ferry ride you can do that in 23rs. I can't expect everything in this price but yeah atleast room should be liveable.

I booked a dormitory bed and stayed there for 6 nights. The homestay is in the walking distance from Alleppey railway station. Alleppey beach is just 200mtr far from the homestay. You will get free wifi there. Genuinely saying its very good and affordable homestay in Alleppey. Uncle and aunty both are very kind in nature. As a solo traveller, I explored the whole by myself but, If you need them then they even help you to get the right trips and tour of houseboats and other ones. Nice people Nice place If I get a chance to visit Alleppey again, I am going to stay in this place one more time. Thank you Uncle for your lovely hospitality Note :- Sorry, I couldn't say goodbye to you. It's because my train was at 6 in the morning and i left at 5 in the morning in the dark.
