Endroit calme et extremement chaleureux. Nos hotes ont ete aux petits soins avec nous et nous ont donne divers conseils sur les visites que nous voulions faire ou les transports que nous pouvions utiliser. La maison est proche du taj Mahal. Tout est propre et la chambre et la salle de bain sont spacieuses. De plus, leur petit dejeuner et leur diner etaient tres bon ! Nous ne pouvons que les recommander !

This place is very nice. They helped me in the middle of the night when I was in trouble. I have traveled all over the world and have not had many experiences as nice as this. I was also treated to traditional Indian food and was able to watch the food being prepared when it was cooked. Thanks to your very warm family, I had a wonderful trip to Agura. I would like to see them again. I would highly recommend my stay here to all my friends from Japan and also all over the world and to everyone who reads this review. We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting the Taj Mahal. This is a really great home stay. The hosts are very genuine and friendly. It's a great location. We easily walked to the Taj Mahal but there is also a shuttle service near the house. They will cook you amazing food for dinner and breakfast as well.

George is a very helpful and kind owner who will go out if his way to help you with your travel and make your stay comfortable. The location is quiet and convenient. Delicious home cooked food is also offered.

Positive: George and Vinita are such lovely hosts and we had the best of our India stays at Thomas Homestay. The food was outstanding and the best masala chai! George helped us with transport, directions and tips. George also helped us to get to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise very easy. The area is quiet and safe and we wish we could've stayed longer! We will come back for sure.. Negative: Nothing!.

Positive: Large clean room with good en-suite and hot shower. Great location easy access to Taj and Agra fort, nice restaurants and shops nearby, nearest cafe is Sheroes a charity cafe for woman who have gotten over acid attacks. Mr Thomas and his family are lovely their English is excellent and are full of help if needed. Communal balcony to watch life go by is nice..

Positive: We had a lovely stay with Vinita and George. They are a very welcoming family and go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The room is a good size and came with a good heater if you need it. We enjoyed a great hot shower, something we found a little hard to find in India! Thank you for being such gracious hosts. Positive: The family were really lovely, friendly and kind but also held back and gave me space where appropriate. Home stays are a really good and important idea. (1). you get the privilege of seeing inside a family's home. (2) you support a local family (3). you support the local community . Its a much better idea than pouring money into a multinational hotel chain. I have noticed some odd content in other peoples comments. This is a home stay, you get to see how an Indian family functions, and how they design their house and decorate it too. Someone made a dispariging comment about the room being dark. This is an architectural feature found in many warm climes. Direct sunlight is historically avoided to keep rooms cool. And here a central light shaft lights the rooms and this is supplemented by auxillary lighting. If you want an European experience book into one of those bland hotel chains that could be anywhere. If you want an Indian experience with all its colour, flavour and character book into a home stay. (pictures attached).. Negative: Everything was good..
