We are stayed in thillai garden cottage, As per my opinion it is situated 2 km away from kotagiri city center and nice place to stay and relax out of crowded city ...if you have vehicle like car bike you can choose this cottage ... all the rooms have big hall and bedrooms especially the hill view from cottage is excellent and there is small children park for children play ..they have cottage mess and food is excellent but slightly costly but it's worthy for such a taste yummy foods ... cottage staffs are very helpful and respectful... don't expect soap ,shampoo ,toothpaste etc other then that everything okkk .. even in season month like May June here the cost of rooms is acceptable comparing to city resorts.....
Rooms are well maintained. We had to manage without hot water for bath in that cold weather. Location is on the highway about 2kms from Kothagiri. Pure veg food is available at Nahar Retreat and spa about 2km from this place.
Located en route Kotagiri, exactly 2.5 kms before Kotagiri. The stay was good and rooms were kinda good. Not suited for family and hot water is an issue. Should wait for than 15 minutes to avail hot water even while geyser is on. The view outside the cottage is breathtaking.
Small place, 6 rooms nestled amongst tea plantation. Courteous, accommodative staff. About a km from the Donnington junction. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and serviceable. My son couldn't believe that there wasn't a fan to be seen in any of the rooms. Hot water available. Morning coffee and all three meals can be pre-ordered. TV has very few options. Kids play area is well maintained. The highlight of the place - the plants and the myriad coloured flowers.
Nice location and surroundings. Serene and clean. They serve food on order basis. Cost May look like bit on the higher side, but bearable for few days.
Nice location..but is a mediocre place. The service guy is good but somehow not a good experience. They can have cleaner blankets and better hygiene

It's a calm place with valley view.Theres a small stream nearby,we can hear it flowing at nights.Rooms are clean,they provide homely food also.Affordable.

Best cup of tea and snacks in Donnington kotagiri. Very well managed by a cool loving malayalee couple. The samosa is awesome. A must visit location to have tea.
A great place along kothagiri town for a quick weekend getaway. The rooms were clean and spacious overlooking onto nice scenics. The staff were also polite and are some of the great cooks out there! Overall had a pleasant experience.
