We visited on a weekday and the atmosphere was just fine. Am sure it must be very lively although busy on weekends. Service was okay, not great, but no complaints as such. Food (nonveg) was nice. I suggest you visit around the weekend.
I went to this place during Halloween. The decorated it very nicely, but I wasn't getting the Halloween vibe. In terms of food, we had a veg Halloween special, which was not bad bit not great either. In non-veg, we had ordered either chicken peshawari or lahori tikka, I don't recall the name, it had no cheese on top as mentioned in menu book. We asked them to replace it, but they replaced brought back the same old dish with some cheese on top and it literally felt like the dish was reheated in a microwave. That wasn't a good experience. The drinks were fine.
Really very very slow service. This could have easily 4 or 5 star if service was fast or even if regular. We visited in Sunday afternoon not much crowd but service was really slow. We started with Soup , suggested by Waiter which was not good so go for you choice. Chicken platter was good. French fries was good. Cheese balls was also good. But everything came late. Mutton biryani was okay. Dal khichdi was good. Last we asked for hot brownie with icecream And they took so long that we cancelled Even the Cancellation took very long waited additional 5 mins just for bill. This service can really be improved.
The primary attraction of Thikana Lakeview Restaurant is its picturesque setting. It is located near a lake, allowing patrons to enjoy beautiful waterfront views while dining. As soon as you enter the restaurant, they have a huge sitting area which enhance the dining experience creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance, with comfortable seating, soft lighting, and decor that complements the waterfront setting. The light was already falling when we reached the place, a lake of dark blue water, but crystal clear and beautiful in colour. Walking into a restaurant and almost tripping over congested chairs and table is nobody's idea of a good time but this place is so spacious, open and comfortable for chilling. The ambience had the perfectly adjusted lights to serve the purpose of both utility and creating certain mood, after entering the place our mood was enlightened by seeing the ambience, good music, the cool breeze, and ofcourse the breathtaking scenery. As it was a weekend we expected some delay in service but after looking at the crowd the service was supersonic and food was great. The management was so quick in taking orders, getting orders on time and available whenever required. The bar counter serves amazing mocktails and cocktails, DJ playing great music and huge dance floor to chill and enjoy. They do serve hookah, this allows guests to have a complete night out, combining dining and entertainment. The restaurant serves a diverse menu that can include a variety of cuisines, from fusion and grill items to pasta and salads. The menu feature both classic and innovative dishes to cater to a broad range of tastes. What we tried: Punjabi soya chap: Chap was little spicy, perfectly cooked and the tangy flavor making it a delightful treat for vegetarians and those who enjoy Punjabi cuisine. It was served with green chutney and onions making it a hit dish. Chicken aglio kebab: It's a unique and flavorful dish that combines the best of both Italian and Middle Eastern culinary traditions. The seasonings and spices were perfect which made kebabs talk of the table. Non-veg biryani : Chicken biryani was served hot accompanied by raita, its delightful blend of flavors and dry rose petal on top making it different and flavorful. Paneer Pasanda with Butter Naan : Butter fry cottage cheese infused with dry fruit and Indian spices served with yellow gravy went great with butter naan. Its truly an great place to start your evening or to end your beautiful time on a high note.
Huge space..... best for team diner. Food quality and quantity was good, Was not expecting this such good taste looking at place. Service was very nice and was quick.
A space with food , music , sheesha , enjoyment and weekend wibes. I was here with my family. Away from the city shore. We travelled 22kms to reach here. We had:- Chicken Piri Piri with Peeta Bread. As the the name states Piri Piri, it had a tinch of spice. The Peeta Bread was soft but the Hammus did not impress much. Fish Chilly in Oyester Sauce. Fish was fresh and soft . It lacked the Oyester pungent fragrance. But it tasted good. Prawn Mustard. The taste gave an impression of local Chinese dish. Salty and heavily coated with batter. Yes the prawn were soft and fresh. We wanted to try the Thai Green Curry but my daughter really got un easy with all the sheesha smoke around. Thai green curry is one of our family's favourite dish. We always try it whenever possible. So we finally took away a portion of to have on the next day. We wanted to stay away from the sheesha section but our hopes were gone with wind. The sheesha smoke was all over the place after some time. Some new things to see and experience. The captain's t-shirt was tagged as THEKEDAR and the waiters as MAIN HU NA. The toilet doors labelled as BEVDA and BEVDI. Weired neon signs at the dance floor...ZINDAGI RUDE FIR BHI HUM DUDE. We burnt like rs.2900/- for 3 persons including the GST and compulsory tips which is named as Service Charge 5%.
Go there just for *Mahol* .... Drink and come back. Pathetic food taste and the waiters have *Zero* knowledge of the food menu. Chicken is served with Curry Leaves.... Lots of curry leaves ... And just curry leaves..... Ask for red gravy and you will be surprised with brown gravy .... Definitely NO for food. YES for drinks.
I recently visited Thikhana Lakeview in Bhugaon with my friends after hectic office work... and I must say it turned out to be a pleasant experience overall. This charming lakeside restaurant offers a tranquil ambiance and a breathtaking view that adds to its allure. The menu offered a variety of dishes, and I was delighted to find a fusion of both local and international flavors. Each dish was well-presented, and the flavors were well-balanced, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. In summary, despite the slight setback of slow service, Thikhana Lakeview offers a wonderful lakeside retreat with a fantastic view and delectable food. If you're seeking a peaceful atmosphere and appreciate good cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Location: 297, Mulshi Rd, near Manas lake, Bhugaon, Bavdhan, Pune, Maharashtra 412115
