I had fried rice there and the taste was good. But, the chicken biryani was not as expected. And moreover, they took more time to bring up the orders...Exactly near Pothys, so after a tiring shopping, you can have lunch / dinner over here!

Some of the unique taste foods are crab lollipop, scotched egg,Honey glazed chicken, Continental sizzler,Tandoori chicken platter,Chingri malai curry.
Honey glazed chicken's taste and continental sizzler taste are still in my mouth.
The quantity of the food items are also considerably good and in decent price.
One of the main thing to be mention is their service.They treated every customer as their family and that makes all of us comfortable and happy

Just not my day I guess. They informed they have changed the menu. But just my luck more than half the items in menu were not there. No Biriyani. Service was good, but food a turn down.
Nevertheless tried few dishes.
Only saviour was mutton ularthiyathu and Egg noodles.
Cheesy Fries were dry with mozzarella. In my opinion they need to be of soft cheese or saucy.
Chilly prawns had prawns that were thick coated in flour (guess it was prawns for tempura they used for gravy too)
Fruit salad was syrupy.
Milkshake and Mojito were ok.
Dear Chef, have you ever tasted a good biriyani? Or else do you know how biriyani should give aroma and taste? Why you ppl are grabbing your customers with fancy dish names and cheating them with your ultra worst tasted 'KILI Biriyani'. It's not even worth for 100 rs but you ppl are charging Rs.280. No aroma, no salt, chicken is over cooked, coloured water in the name of salna and worst taste to the core. It's like chef tried with some YouTube recipe for the first time. To be simple It's not a KILI Biriyani.... It's 'KILI PULI SORU'.
Absolutely a go to option for restaurant in Nagercoil. Went for lunch and all the dishes were too yummy. We went for late lunch but also all the items in menu were available and tasty too. No cons to mention. Please maintain this quality always.
Thekkiny is an elegant restaurant attached, it offers both takeaway, room service and dine in options, the cost is reasonable and taste is good. There were few occasions of power failure but they have a genset and it gets operated in few minutes. Over all a good experience. The restaurant is a part of Vashant Krishna hotel, this is in a prime location in Nagercoil near to Pothys and Lalitha Jewellery. Lots of shopping places close to this hotel, the Kanyakumari district Collector office is right opposite to this property. Ample parking space, it has multiple stories, each floor has close to 15 rooms.
I ever taste worst food in my life,,BEST u must change your chef or else close your hotel. Simply money waste.

Situated just after the busy-ness of the town. Parking is available in front of the building. Not at all wheelchair friendly as you have climb many steps. Even during peak hours, the wait was manageable.
