Kayaking on the lake was probably one of the most fun things.. It's well equipped and the calibet of the sailors is extraordinary. each of them have a full time job or are pursuing a degree yet find the time to perfect their skill . And the people who run it truly embody the phrase .. highly recommend it to anyone going to Hyderabad..

Also a world class training facility that teaches Sailing and Kayaking . We train at the National levels and have produced a few national champions and some at the top asian levels.

This club is a good idea. But Iam born and raised in Hyderabad. I can never imagine touching the Tankbund water. Good luck with skin disease if u happen to tip over in it.

One of the best things to do in Hyderabad. Its for Kids and Elders of all ages. Hyderabad is the only city which offers this. My son has been going there for a year, its a good /fun sport and engaging. It builds a lot of confidence in the kids. And it just takes 3-4 weekends to get going, and not really expensive.

I've been sailing for about 17 years, across a lot of classes of boats and a few water bodies. I took a team of 6 rock climbers to sail after a 3 day theory session. We spent 4 days at the YCH and were able to right from rigging a boat to actual racing around a course. Brilliant boats, well maintained, good quality, great and ever improving and evolving infrastructure, they've got their safety standards and awareness well buttoned down, and most importantly, the team led by Suheim Sheikh is absolutely fabulous, both as people and as professionals, whether coaches or support. A complete experience right down recommending good, safe and nearby accommodation, the Yacht Club of Hyderabad is a fabulous place to go and learn to sail, train, or then simply go out on a bunch of well kept dinghies and experience sailing. Comes very highly recommended.

Such disciplined learning with such dedicated teaching ! My daughter and her friend enjoyed every bit of the basic course that they did in the summer. It made a lot of sense to take a sailing holiday to the Yacht Club, Hyderabad. Hope to do another holiday very soon !
